The rules of the game are for 4 players. But it should not be a problem to extend the game to additional players by adding a second box.

Q: Can the game be easily deciphered by color blind players?

The pieces have symbols corresponding to the flowers associated with the colors, in addition to being color coded, so I think you could play it. Would it be easy to do so? I'm not sure, but it is possible and I think they designed it with this in mind. Great game!
