My husband and I are renovating a house from 1925, which basically means everything we touch could be toxic, haunted, or both. There’s definitely lead paint lurking somewhere—it’s just part of the vintage charm, right? Between the sanding, painting, and refinishing floors, we’ve been living in a dust cloud of potential poison and bad decisions.Enter this reusable respirator mask—our new best friend. I used to rely on N95s for light sanding, but they’re basically useless against the heavy-duty stuff. This thing, though? It means business. I can breathe without feeling like I’m inhaling a 100-year-old mystery.Yes, it gets a little uncomfortable after a while (especially when you’re sweating through your third coat of primer), but honestly? I’d rather suffer a little discomfort than risk growing a third lung from all the fumes. Sacrifices must be made for survival.I really appreciate that it comes with a ton of extra filters—we burn through them faster than our renovation budget. And yes, we look like a couple of aliens doing a home makeover show on Mars, but at least we’re safe.Would absolutely recommend to anyone restoring old houses or just trying not to die from inhaling their project.

Easy to adjust and molds comfortably to my face. I was concerned regarding fit as I am a smaller sized female. We purchased two , the other mask is for anaverage size male,still no problem. We purchased this unit for a concrete grinding job that will create a lot of particulate dust. I believe this mask with its double filtration capacity will protect our lungs while prepping the floor for tiling.I tested the seal while I was adjusting the fit as soon as it arrived, and there was no leaks around my face and yet, air flowed easily.I admit I am not a professional and don’t plan to wear this every day as part of my work day routine, maybe then I would find this mask lacking in some way. That’s not who I am am I will have DIY projects whereas I will appreciate the safety aspect of not inhaling fumes and particulates while prepping surfaces. Once again I will be glad I made this purchase.The glasses were a nice addition to the kit.

This did the trick for me on a second day drilling ceiling holes for can lights with insulation dropping down, and I mean I smelled nothing and didn't cough once while working, or since then, like the day before. The only thing I didn't understand at first was putting it together, as I was only going to use the cotton filters, but realized you have to use both, since they don't fit on their own. It's lightweight and adjustable, so wearing it for 4 hours straight, I'd say it's comfortable; the rubber is very soft on the face. It covers only your nose and mouth and fits very well and easy to adjust. The back neck strap has a straight plastic closure, but it should be curved, like your neck, but it's okay.The eye mask fits perfectly above the mask, but it did show some translucent marks after one 4-hour use, even though I was very careful with them (I wore them most of the time). The strange thing it's on the inside near the edges; I can't see how anything would touch them there. It looks like there is some coating on them that is coming off or something. I washed them with Dawn and then lens cleaner. I can still use them (for a while), but will replace them. However, they were spotless when I put them on, so I'm certainly not taking away from wear, even though I have no clue how it got there. It's toward the side, so it doesn't impair my vision. I do like a very clear view, so I did take off one star and will look for a replacement pair or something similar to keep on hand. The filter part is outstanding!

It is very comfortable. I use it because I have a severe case of hay fever and if I didn't wear this I couldn't cut the grass. It allows me to breath without sneezing. I would definitely recommed it to a friend.

For the price point, this eye shield and respirator are a good deal. They fit well and are easily adjustable. They are also very lightweight and not cumbersome. They seal to the face well and do not have any bad sort of smell. The respirators are compatible with other respirators cartridges. The only thing that I would say is that I would likely not buy these for use with any serious heavy duty chemicals. I would go with a trusted name like 3M for something like that. However, all that I am doing is mixing sodium hydroxide (lye) with water, so this should do the trick.

Great mask for working under the house and removing insulation. Soft rubber gasket seals around your face and bridge of your nose and straps are easy to adjust once the mask is on. Came with eye mask goggles and several replacement filter elements. This mask works extremely well and you Can't beat the price !!

The goggles and face mask performed well. The googles are well made and easily cleaned. The face mask held up well while sanding a popcorn ceiling. I would definitely buy these again if the need ever arises.

I have used this time and time again for painting, sanding, using various strong chemicals like 3M Commercial adhesives. I highly recommend this.
