This small little tool has made my daily routine of applying liquid minoxidil for hair loss a pleasure!! Finally, no fuss way to deliver my product of choice onto my scalp directly without getting the liquid all over my surrounding hair! No matter how careful and precise I tried to be with a dropper, it would always end up looking greasy on my surrounding hair and/or running down my face.Really, I couldn't be more impressed with the design and functionality this little tool offers. The cost is justified by the quality. The rubber top pops on and off easily (yet fits tightly,) the comb itself snaps securely into the base for no mess storage, and most importantly, the liquid is delivered fluidly and uninterrupted through the metal roller ball application tips. This tool also has a window where you can see the level of product within. But perhaps the best compliment I can give it is that I ordered another to have as backup. Not that I think this tool wasn't built with longevity in mind, but after just one use, I know I never want to go back to my old way of applying minoxidil. I'm not going to miss how greasy my hair looked when my product came in contact with it, and I'm no longer going to want to intentionally miss my daily application because I don't want to mess up my having a good hair day. I had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. This product left me feeling frustrated with its performance.The main issue I encountered was the difficulty in getting the oil to come out. Despite my efforts, the oil did not flow easily through the comb. It required a significant amount of physical force to push down the beads, which was not only uncomfortable but also painful for my head. Even when I managed to push them down, the oil still did not come out smoothly.In addition, the design of this applicator comb is not user-friendly. The top part of the comb is poorly designed and easily comes off, resulting in leakage. This not only wasted the oil but was also messy which defeats the purpose of the comb.

I wanted a head massager that I could use to help stimulate blood flow while doing hair oil treatments. This was PERFECT because the rollers drop oil onto my scalp when I push it to my head, applying the oil more accurately and without getting the hair around my scalp super oily.It's super easy to hold. To fill it with oil you just take the rubber cap off and fill it with your hair oil. I also use it to smooth out my hair and massage my scalp and it feels nice!!Mine did have a little leakage but with the cap it sits in there wasn't much of a mess. Also, this is very picky but the rubber cap sometimes takes a few pushes in to suction into the hole in the top, it's still useable if it's sticking out a little but I prefer to have it flush in.

The Scalp Applicator Comb, Hair Oil Applicator has its merits. I appreciate that it holds a good amount of oil, ensuring I don't have to refill frequently. However, the design leaves something to be desired.Pressing the top of the applicator to oil the top of the head is a bit challenging and uncomfortable. It seems to disperse only a small amount of oil, and personally, I'd prefer a bit more coverage. While it serves its purpose, the design quirks make it a bit less user-friendly than I had hoped. A three-star rating from me.

It has worked great with the oil mix I bought (a little runny). I didn't need to put much in for it to work. I checked throughout to ensure it was still putting out oil on my skin and it was. I can feel at the edges of my scalp how evenly the oil was spread out. My curly (3 b/c) hair was not fully combed and I was still about to easily reach all of my scalp. Truly not a drop of oil wasted! I was worried my roots would get too greasy, it won't be an issue.The rollers did not tug on my hair, it didn't catch the hair in the rollers and pull it out, and as long as I was careful it didn't create a back combing effect. I'm sure if all my knots were worked though it would be even less of an issue. It felt very nice on my scalp, and although a bit smaller than expected it was comfortable to hold. I think this is going to be a great long term tool for my hair health.

Bristles/oil applicators work well, but top to seal in oil does not work well. Often slides open.
