Perfect for TIny-Scale Projects
I got this screen to make a little CHIP-8 machine with an emulator I wrote and this screen is perfect for this. The pros are that it's a high pixel density display, has a high FPS, is touchscreen, and is super portable. The cons I ran into while setting everything up is that I can't switch between HDMI and this screen like I would be able to with the official 7 inch display, instead I have to uninstall the drivers and change /boot/config.txt. Another small problem that I had is that the touchscreen will jitter its input around in some cases, but that didn't bother me much since my use didn't involve a mouse at all.Other than those problems, it's a fantastic and cheap display for any small-scale project. Totally recommend.

Crisp, clear and high resolution for it's size.
A little bit of a pain to solder on, but that's life with most of these things. :) Do wish someone made a little case for it. Otherwise it's really nice. The touchscreen works well, screen is really crisp & bright. Having something that's 'high' resolution for the Pi zero that's small really helps for making things easy to read with lots of info. Most of the other toy screens out there have 1980's style 320x240 resolution which is largely useless. This screen is nice 640x480 and really easy to read. The hardest time I had quite frankly was getting all the rotation stuff figured out. The video was easy, the touch part was a little tricky.

Somewhat decent display, poor instructions.
The display is okay for the money. A few stray pixels. There is only documented support for RPiOS and retropi. The instructions aren't very helpful. There is a link to instructions on the item description on Amazon and a url printed on the item packaging, both have different instructions and neither worked for me. I've tried a few distros and was able to find success by copying the contents from the "old" text file on their github and pasting into the config file.

Great screen. Glad I bought it. I'll probably end up buying a few more actually.
I bought it and set it up to see yellow colors. I contacted support and they gave me a lot of troubleshooting help. I bothered them over several days. Finally I removed/cleaned things up and soldered again. BAM! Perfect beautiful screen. This is part of a RetroPie handheld and the resolution and refresh are super important to me. I'm loving it. It's the best I've seen for the price and size and all. I don't write a ton of reviews, but I feel like I have to after wasting so much of Amy's time via email trying to figure out the problem which was my own fault all along. She was always so nice. Sorry again Amy, and you are awesome for putting up with me :)*I ended up removing the header plastic to get the Pi a little closer to the screen even though the little piece didn't take up that much space. I also clipped the pins a little shorter for the same reason.

Works great, eh colors. (updated)
Works well and looks kind of cool with the small pi zero in the back. My only disappointment is that the colors arent too great. Whole screen has a yellow cast to it that throws colors way off. Other than that it works.(UPDATE)Purchased a second 2.8 screen from the same company and it ended up having the same issue! I did some angry searching and found some help.sudo raspi-gpio set 8 a2sudo raspi-gpio set 7 a2Boom.... and that will fix the color issue, if you you have it. You'll have to put those in a start up command or script as it will reset every time you reboot.3 stars cause of incomplete documentation and this resetting color bug. I shouldn't have had to go through all that searching.
