Introduction to Emergency Management 5th Edition

I bought this for a class to answer the discussion prompts. It's very explicit and well written. I am satisfied with the information contained in this book as well as the way it's written.

My husband needed this book and this was at a GREAT deal than what others were selling. It did take a little bit for it to be delivered, but it wasn't a huge deal. Product was exactly as described and the book is in great condition.

Required material for my class however I would not own it otherwise. In the first chapter it references early emergency management going back to the Egyptians attempting to stop the flooding of the Nile. However it also references Moses parting the Red Sea and states this could be considered an early attempt at EM?!?!? I am not choosing religion or Darwin, however I think the author stretches a bit too much and there are more examples in the book.

Great informative well written book! Really interesting read... awesome examples of real life occurrences and it's relation to Emergency Management

My daughter got a lot of use from the book and it was in GREAT condition.

Needed for school, informative and easy to read.

I'm using this text to teach a class. It is the most current and comprehensive introductory text I've found for an intro and historical summary of Emergency Management in the U.S.

This is an area I work in and I liked the text so much, I considered keeping it after the class was over (rented it). It does a lot of things well although there were some errors I found in editing.
