Q: What’s the best way to secure this product in place? is there a stand to purchase? or what diy ways have others secured the falcon? thx!

You can put sand or small rocks in the bottom. We also wrapped a piece of small fence around ours and secured with worm gear clamp. We had put it on top of a pole with the fence. We can loosen the clamp and move it in a new position or change it to a new pole.

Q: Can you fill it with water to weigh it down?

The bottom has a loosely fitting push-in plug about 1 inch in diameter and I fill mine with small size gravel stones to about half full to give it plenty enough stability. The bottom plug will hold that but it is definitely not water-tight and liquid would leak out pretty quickly.

Q: Does it work for pigeons? Most of the decoy reviews says it works for a week or so then they get used to it...

It works, but only on one condition: You have to move it to different places every day or twice a day. If you leave it in one place, birds & squirrels quicly realize it isn't real. But if they keep finding it in a different place, it's effective.

Effect Not long lasting

The product is as per the description but it had effect only the first couple of days, after that birds started to come back again. It might be effective if paired with other ultrasonic or laser devices.

It does not work!

I did not like this product. It did not work for me at all. It did not scare any birds and the materials are really bad quality.

Decoy Hawks Worked for me..

So I had a problem with seagulls messing up my boat and dock..I've had to spray down my dock and boat on a weekly basis.After I purchased two of these decoy Hawks. I haven't had any problems with any seagulls dropping bombs no where close to my boat or dock..Highly recommended...

Garden decoys have always worked for us through the years and these look great.

Color of the two decoys is much more realistic than the pictured representation in the add.Our old very weathered owl decoys are retired and going to the barn after ten successful years.

Doesn't work for pigeons

I literally attached this toy balcony and 3 minutes later, a pigeon landed beside it. It didn't work for me.

poor quality

eye had fallen off inside box, had to glue it back on;looks nice in the picture but the paint comes off just by touching it---looks like crap now
