My son and I built a hobby forge for melting aluminum, copper, etc. I originally had a lesser burner in it, but it would take forever to eventually melt copper. We just installed and fired this one up and Holy Crap!! We barely had the regulator open and the aluminum was melting as fast as we could load it in just a few minutes. Huge difference and worth every penny. Arrived earlier than expected and in good condition as well.
