Worth the extra. Beautifully engineered
I love Gardena kit. Always superior quality.Doesn't leak....which is important when using weed killer. This has a great multi-function handle allowing tightening, loosening carrying and pumping.Worth the extra £

The best spray that I have ever purchased
I have over the years gone through more sprayers than I care to remember. The Hozelock ones do not seem to last very long and continually loose their pressure. I bought this one as I had recently purchased a 50metre hose of the same make with a smart wind system and was suitably impressed although 30 or 40 metres would have suited me better. 50 metres is a bit heavy to wind back. This sprayer keeps it's pressure all the time. The only problem that I have had is a leak from where the sprayer hose fits onto the main body. I think that my wife had overtightened it. What it needed was the hose pushing down onto the connection and then not overtightening . Job done seems to have solved the problem. The sprayer is a little more expensive than it's competitors but seems more sturdy and has a 5 year guarantee. It is as well to take the main pressure pump off the sprayer when filling as the gauge is a harder to see if using the side filler. All told you get what you pay for

Looks stylish
I have a cheap generic GardenMax sprayer and although that is great it loses pressure overnight so needs to be repumped every morning again. Turns out this is no different but I do like how stylish it looks. That is probably the only main benefit but still it does make a difference if you are a bit OCD. It is a great sprayer and nothing much wrong with it but so is the GardenMax for a fraction of the price. The GardenMax actually has a better pumping mechanism and especially the lock and carry feature is much better. On the Gardena you have to apply much more force. The Gardena is built much more robust but I was surprised. For an elderly lady the Gardena would not be suitable and the GardenMax sprayer would be far better just because you have to apply much more force to unlock and pump and then lock again to carry than on the other one. Because the Gardena is also bigger and heavier this might be a downside. For my purposes it is great, it looks really good. Works as intended. The spray handle is another reason I prefer the Gardena and although it is better it sadly feels very flimsy and shakes around but that's just a minor niggle, I used Gardena products growing up, I know they last a lifetime with the right care.

Great to find something better than the usual tat out there.
We've had a couple of cheaper sprayers from online and local DIY sheds. Most available seem similar in design and of dubious quality (especially the internal bits which die with a little use). After another one died after a couple of uses and then careful (dry, frost free storage), I started looking for something better. Enter this Gardena sprayer. I chose it because it was about 2.5 times the cost of the cheapo ones rather than the much higher prices of the few other better ones avaiulable. It's a completely different animal to the cheapo Chinese ones. It reeks of quality and thoughtful design. BIG caveat - I don't know if it's longevity will be better yet, but I do update my reviews so if there are problems in Spring '24, this will get updated. So far I've used it for some spraying and it assembled well and worked well. The spray head enabled either a strong jet or a fine wide spray with variation inbetween.I've cleaned, dried and stored so we'll see how it works in Spring, but for now I think this represents great value for money and it's nice to have something for once which isn't just the cheapest nastiest item that sellers can find.

Wow wow wow..
I do a lot of nematode spraying for buxus .. I’ve had a lot of sprayers in the past but this is another level of sprayer .. quality is truly superb .. my only issue is I can’t see the level very well but then again I’ve not warm my glasses when filling up so it’s probably more my eye site than an issue with this product .. used 3/4 times a week for the last 6 weeks and I can definitely tell the difference in quality as it is as good as it was new and will last for many years

Was good while it lasted
Worked well and reasonable already adjustment.Used it both for feeding plants and also with weedkiller.Went to use it for first time this year. Pump was very stiff and then came loose.O ring has distorted and internal part of pump mechanism snapped.I've used it since 2022 but only seasonally...perhaps 20 times?
