We were happy with the grower/developer 16% that we were feeding the girls. It smells SO good compared to everything else that we'd tried. Our only issue was the waste, the girls managed to make a mess with it and once it hit the ground, they really couldn't distinguish it from the dust. (So the issue was partly waste, and partly that it attracted vermin to the area beneath the feeder, which is rat-proof).I was thrilled to see the layer in a pelleted version. The ladies still love it, and there's virtually no waste. If pellets are dropped beneath the feeder, they find them and eat them. I have never seen a pellet on the ground. As an added bonus, they ship almost as quickly as Amazon Prime. Without fail, I wait too long to order, and somehow, it always arrives before I've run out.

My chickens love the taste! It's pricey, but it seems really high quality. I usually ferment the last powder at the bottom and my girls go crazy for it!

I usually buy the H & H soy free layer feed but not the pellets. I figured I would try the pellets and see how my hens liked it. Well.... they didnt like it they love it!!! They eat these pellets up like crazy! They have been laying big beautiful eggs almost every day. Happy hens = Happy momma. I just wish they sold it locally so that I could buy it in bulk at a cheaper price. For now I guess Im stuck with amazon.

I wouldn't call this feed " MINI- pelleted"!!!It's consist of LARGE, LONG pellets, some smaller ones and powder ( a LOT of powder). Look at the pics attached!!!Those large pellets even larger than anything I ever purchased.My chickens don't recognize it as a food!!!I was looking for smaller pellet feed for my bantams...Total waste of money !!! Total garbage! Don't buy it!!!

Finally a small mini pellet for chickens! My hens love the pellets over the crumble food but would not eat the large pellets that are available at our local feed store. Found this food and they love it, which means happy hens and less food wastage!

Nope never again! My chickens hate this stuff and use it to dance on. :(

My girls LOVE this feed. And I love knowing that it is non-GMO and soy free. It's also made right here in Texas.
