Trader Joe's Nuts Dry Roasted & Unsalted Oregon Hazelnuts - 16 oz

Holly Crap these are expensive! I was at TJ's in Bham today and bought off the shelf the very same 16oz Dry Roasted & Unsalted for $7.99 !!So unless you live on the moon, it's better to just drive to Trader's.

I received the original TJ’s package open but it was inside another bag. There was a one inch cut at the top of the TJ package. Obviously it was done with a purpose. I don’t understand why.

These nuts are not top quality. they have to be 2nds for sure. I have been eating hazelnuts for over 70 years and these do not have the flavor of good hazel nuts. for one thing they are not the half inch nuts but more like 3/8 inch nut. very small and they taste like they have been in a warehouse for more then three years. to me they are not a good value nut

For some reason, I cannot source hazelnuts locally that don't taste dreadful. I took a chance during the 2017 holiday season on these to be an ingredient in my hazelnut chocolate candies. They tasted great right out of the bad, did not require roasting to get the skins off and only needed a mild bit of rubbing together to break loose some of the remaining skins.My taste tester was also pleased the end results so I will keeping this on the recurring purchase list.

highly recommended. my first purchase of filbert nuts was a huge mistake and i believe a health hazard. it seemed a bargain at 18 to 20 dollars for 2 pounds (ASIN# BOOS8SLOTW) but did it thin my blood? as well as being stale and tasteless. i got over them after i stopped eating them in a few days. i decided that a name brand like trader joes and a smaller amount (more expensive) would be a better choice and immediately reordered after receiving and chowing down on them. exceeded my best expectations.

I love hazelnuts for cakes and cookies because of the flavor but because of the high price I am using less than I would like

las avellanas me gustan mucho y estas fueron sabrosas, el precio fue bueno pero el costo de transporte es muy caro por tal motivo no creo volver a comprarlo .
