Bandai Tamashii Nations Super Robot Chogokin Grendizer Action Figure

SRC Grendizer is an awesome figure to have in your collection or because you're a fan of the character, it feels nicely heavy for his size and the design it sports its pretty awesome giving him such a presence of power (it reminds me in the style of Ken ishikawa), im really happy bandai decided to make this guy. Articulation for this thing is incredible, there is no pose you can't put this guy on which makes it fun to play with. accessories wise he brings is a lot:- 2 pairs of open hands (one pair been more open than the other), a pair holding hands and a pair of fist.- 2 screw crusher punch.- 2 rocket effect part (the same ones that Mazinger Z weapon set brings to be use to place with his regular arms or his Screw Crusher punch when been fire).- 2 double harkens (which you can combine to make the bigger double harkens, you can also remove the ones that the figure has on his shoulders and use them on the staff if you want).- 1 space thunder effect part(pretty nice looking but kinda short in comparison to SRC Great Mazinger's thunder break effect part that he brings).- a little plug piece to use when mounting the figure on those tamshi stage acts for aerial poses or more dynamic poses.now this guy is compatible to other accessories from the same line, you can have him use the SRC Mazinger Z's fist or the jet scrander or Shin Mazinger's God Scrander to Gurren Lagann's wing or the Gunbuster's cape. Now an issue that i got with this figure is that it doesn't come with one iconic thing which is his Spazer. Bandai shown some time ago some pics of it been on the works but its not for certain if they will release it or not or is it gonna become a TWE(Tamashi Web Exclusive). im hoping they release it because this guy needs his Spazer to complete it. but still this figure looks impressive either way.Now my real issue with this is not about the figure but more about Amazon's shipping method. im not sure if its Amazon or one of his facilities that is doing this but there using this kinda envelop box type thing that pretty much anyone can open the box from either side since its not seal with tape like other packaging methods and no bubble wrap of any kind to at least to protect it from getting severely crush trough the mail transit. Mine arrived today (way early than expected which im happy with it) and i notice a side of the packaging was kinda crush and when i open the box i notice my purchase's box some what crush but quite passable for me since it was not severely damage. However, i would much prefer if Amazon never use those kind of packaging method ever again since they are not safe for any kind of item and specially those that are expensive ones, that way they can avoid replacing items whether it got stolen trough the mail or was crush by other packaging.Im really surprise they are using this packaging method again ( i haven't seen this from quite a long time)when previews orders i made with them they send my items with better boxes seal with tape and bubble wraps included as well, this method they use to send me this item should not be acceptable in any way even if it just for to reduce cost so i hope they never use this method again.

I love it!! It's a robot, it's heavy, and it is a robot!! Lol it's a good size and comes with lots of accessories to make different poses. If your a fan of the classic Diecast toys from the late 70's to mid 80's you will love this figure. I have him display on a shelf next to the mazinga z figure and they look great !

I was a bit reluctant when I ordered this figure, that all changed when I opened it. It's a fantastic figure. About an inch taller than the SRC Mazinger Z and a lot heavier. Tight joints, dynamic posability, great accessories and superb paint application. If you're a Grendizer fan, or mech fan in general, this is a must for your collection.

This is not a toy per say. It's a collection figurine that you can pose. Though it is a bit limited in its possibilities for the poses it can have, the number of options is quite important. (I'm sorry for the english readers, but i don't know the names of Goldorak's power in english.) It has 3 pairs of hands (open, fist and holding), a second set of horns with a bolt for the "cornofulgure" power, a second set of forarms for the "fulguropoing" power (with the jets burn and smoke) and also the "asterohache" twin blade. And of course, the blades on his shoulder can be removed. That is cool because if he has his blades in hands he can't have them on the same time on his shoulder. Well though of. It might be just a bit fragile concerning the accessories, though the figurine itself is well built. Overall, it is a very fine figurine.

Price Paid: around $45, including tax...Pros:This is a standard SRC affair with diecast in lower legs, all the major joints (hip, shoulder, and ankle joints)and the whole chest.Paint app is immaculate. And unlike bare and unpainted color plastic SRC Gurren and Gunbuster had to edure, almost 90% of Grendizer is painted. Color me pleasantly shocked.Articulation on this figure is off the chart, inumerable.He has "clicky joints" on his knees. Also, couple of those red spikes on each of his forearms are jointed so they won't get in the way when bending the double jointed elbows..Just an awesome and fun figure.Cons:Again, some parts are made of horribly poisonous PVC.The figure as whole could of been better proportioned...Thicker neck and bit longer legs perhaps?Now, where's my SRC Sun Vulcan Bandai?Here's the major contention with Amazon....This expensive collectable is packed in one of those "envelope box hybrid packaging" with NO cushion (no bubble wrap no air cushion..W.T.H...)to spare it possibly from those careless delivery men you see on the web....Too late for some of us because I'm the second person I know who received the box crushed on one corner.Amazon please look into this immediately before you get more returns by angry collectors. I myself isn't too concern as I'm not a stickler for boxes but many many aren,t like me....I won't punish Bandai for Amazon's mistake...four and a half star for the figure itself but if you want a perfect box, order with some more items....That way, you will get a real box packaging and some air bag support.Amazon, what's wrong with you these days?

It is very poseable and the included weapons are sufficient. I just wish that I would have been a bit taller and heavier as having it do those dramatic poses shave off a bit of height from the figure. Making it more bottom heavy would greatly stabilize the figure as well.
