It is a slide on mount and requires the slot on the telescope.

Q: Can it be mounted on a celestron powerseeker 60eq? what adapter plate do i need?

Red Dot Viewfinder is suit for Celestron 80EQ 80/90 DX SE.

Q: Where are the mounting holes. There are none in the base

I did 2 different methods of mounting, one I drill holes to match up with preexisting alignment lense and the other telescope I purchased a mounting bracket that mounting holes matched alignment scope
