Q: From pictures it looks like the arms are extendable, how short can it go? For where i wanted to place this i dont have 2.5'.

Shortest length from arm end to arm end is 14 inches.

Q: will the BBG solar panel get enough sunlight mounted on top of my car underneath my carport ?

if the charging panel is not in sunlight most of the day, it doesn't work

Hi Wendy. The device is lightweight and can be easily moved. It must not be submerged so you might have to place it on a platform when the kids at ju'ing. Whatever that is. If it's a favorite with pigeons you might expect to spen some time fine tuning your placement. Pigeons are stubborn but this device can keep them at bay if properly deployed.

Q: Does it come with suction cups? If not, what size screws fit on legs so can order correct size screw on suction cups?

The bird repeller does not come with suction cups. The mounting hole size is 3/16" or 4 MM.
