I wouldn't buy it
It really wasn't that great of a book. It really didnt have anything that was special about it to justify the purchase

Very practical
This book was fun to read and to implement. Very practical approach that worked great for me. One of the best productivity books that I have ever read. Highly recommend.

Pragmatic and actionable
Lots of pseudo science and rah rah info out there on this subject. This book is a solid set of actionable ideas in a pragmatic framework.

Good...not great
I found some of this obvious and monotonous. That being said, there are some good tips and tricks. I recommend skipping to those sections that matter to you and go from there.

Great Read and Lots of Actionable Information
Great book on the subject - breaks things down into actionable steps and helps you identify areas you need to focus on. I enjoyed this book.

Great and very useful book!
If you are in daily chaos and need to achieve more and feel more in control at the same time then this is a very worthwhile methodology. It is also tailored to disorganised types and thus more applicable to some than David Allen's books.

Week 3 of consistent zero inbox
I’m a lawyer working in financial regulation for one of the big banks. On a good day I have around 50 emails per day coming through my inbox and one a bad one (two days ago) that figure is more like 150! With these techniques, my inbox is zero several times per day and I’m ahead of all deadlines so far this year - yep, I read this over Christmas and the intended implementation of it formed part of my New Year resolutions list. I have a five year old who has since benefited from more bedtime stories and weekend play because I’m freer. In the first week, it was so liberating (not to mention unfamiliar) that I couldn’t actually sleep. My mind was so clear, that I didn’t know what to do with myself. I now realise I was just so used to constantly worrying noise as background music to my life, clarity became scary. The other New Year résolution I had was to read books that I always wanted to read, but never got round to it. In just over three weeks, I’ve read George Orwell’s 1984, William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, Stephen Fry’s Mythos and Ian Clayton’s Bringing It All Back Home. That is how this book will change your life. Look at me, I’m even reviewing Amazon purchases!! I’ve done at least twenty today.

Good for Children, not high achieves. This book actually makes you procrastinate more!
Good Points: It cuts out a lot of jargon talk, generally easy to read, write tries to make this a 'fun' book to read, has a few good ideas to use, recommends a couple of good apps to download.Bad Points: About 200 pages to long, could of easily filled the information to 150 pages but tends to repeat and drag out a lot of points, lots of 'filler' in the book, the ' cord' method is basic by writer makes it complicated in attempt to justify it's importance, nothing new we haven't seen before here, it's based more towards office workers and CEO in big companies (although you would hope they should know these basic skills). The author comes across as David Brent style character and you can easily lost interest. Tries to hard to be different by going on about being a ninja, just get to the point, it's not GCSE students reading this. There is a lot better and more effective books out there.

Clear simple effective
An excellent well thought out book with some very common sense approaches and tools to improving your productivity mindset and managing your workload and processes. I could relate to almost all the daily issues identified in the book and have found implementing the suggestions to improve these both easy to do and effective. It acts as a great reference guide which I use as when I am feeling unproductive referring back to it regularly to remind me of ways I can rethink how I am working and get back on track. If you have an inbox that feels like 10 new email arrive before you can read one, battle with a continual stream of notifications and have more concurrent projects than you can keep track of this is really worth a read!

Idealistic
Felt the book made a lot of sense, covering known and new areas, however feel it focuses on a narrow work band of largely management/organisational roles; working in an ops or dev environment I feel, some of these ideas counter intuitive and would arguably lead to more mental strain/workload.

Loved this book
Really useful tips and strategies. I have implemented quite a lot of the advice and feel massively more productive already. Leaving work at the end of the day with an empty email inbox is extremely satisfying!
