The wax seems to be good quality; it melts and pours smoothly, sticks securely to paper, and takes the stamp's details well, and once hardened it's strong and flexible. I chose this set in particular because I liked the color selection, and in person the colors are all just as beautiful as they seem in the product photo, if not more so. Both stamp designs are quite nice, although the tiny details in the tree of life definitely benefit from being highlighted with the metallic markers. The markers look really cheap but I was pleasantly surprised by their performance, and they add a nice extra touch to either stamp design. The envelopes are a heavier cardstock sort of paper with a smooth, very slightly shimmery finish, which I expect will hold up really well to the hot wax.The other reason I wanted this set specifically was the warmer, which I really love; the design of it is simple but elegant, and it works perfectly. The spoons in this set rest slightly less securely than I'd like, but it's not an issue if you set them carefully. It's really nice to be able to just set the spoon down and let the wax melt instead of having to hold it over a candle the whole time-- not that it takes very long to melt three pellets, I'm just fidgety and impatient, haha.I think the only thing that may be a downside of this set is that the all-metal spoons get pretty warm; it'd be nice if they had a wood or even plastic grip on the handles to mitigate possible burns, which I could see being a possible problem if you're heating it repeatedly to do a lot of stamps in one sitting, or if you're just not especially careful. But I'd still say it's more something to be mindful of than a major detriment when everything else in the set is so nice.

I was very happy with this purchase. I read other reviews and some of them weren’t so good. I have used it three times now since I received it. Everything is great. The color of the wax is vibrant. Very easy to use. Three little waxes will make one seal. I definitely would buy again. I am buying one for my daughter-in-law.

This is my first time ever using wax seals. I must say it was much easier than I thought it would be.Pros: minimal to no mess; the wax melted quickly but not too quickly; low odor from the candle heating/burning the spoon.Con: I will be purchasing a spoon with a wooden handle because if you create more than two or three seals back-to-back, the handle will be warm to the touch. Anything beyond three seals, I would pick the spoon up bare-handed.I didn't think about taking pictures of the seals before I put them in the mail, I was just excited that I did it and they looked good to me.Also, the different colors melted nicely when mixed, no need to try and stir them. I would say just mix them up when you put them in the spoon, i.e. two blues two silvers, one blue, to get a nice marble look when you pour it out. They really blend well naturally.

The Bride wanted to put wax seals on each of the wedding invitations and use for other items so we needed a way to make it happen for her, This gave her a chance to see what color wax seal she wanted to use. So many colors to choose from this assortment gave her a chance to view in person just a few ideas of what matches her theme and color scheme. This worked beautifly. Easy to use, the Bride loved it.

My daughter purchased this just to play around with it, but then we had a murder mystery party for her birthday and in the second act, you have to provide each guest with an envelope explaining their character information for the rest of the party. It elevated the experience when each person received an envelope with a wax seal on it (in their favorite color, no less!)It's as easy to use as you would expect, just remember there is an open flame, so adult supervision is advised.

Loved these - had so much fun. Only downside is learning to clean it afterward.

This kit comes with everything needed to make an estimated 120-150 wax seals. The colors are pretty and provide a variety of options to select from and combine. The stamp is well made and the depth of the design makes a really fine impression that is visible with or without. My only concern is the stainless steel heating spoons. They sit on the burner at an angle and the melted wax looks tragically close to spilling over the edge. They also do not have a pouring divit design.

This kit is EXACTLY like the pictures on Amazon. It is such a great quality and makes me feel so fancy when I use it. So so so easy to do my 10 year old can do it (with supervision of course…use fire safety always!!!) I now wax seal everything like I’m the Gueen of England! The castle seal was bought separately off Amazon of course but this kit comes with a few seals that are perfect too. Listen no one NEEDS a wax seal kit but you won’t regret buying it and it’s just so much fun to use!!!
