Q: On a water feature. what colors are available? i need how many coats? how long does it last? can you paint it over existing pool color of blue?

Pond Armour offers a variety of colors which may be viewed on their website. Two coats are recommended & I have to agree. Previously painted surfaces & cracks should be repaired & pressure washed or sanded prior to application of Ponds Armour for maximum adhesion. Like span of product will vary depending on location & climate. I used 7 gallons resealing a large concrete reservoir . It sealed all microcracks & I am very pleased. Proper preparation is essential for maximum adhesion .

If you need more help you can call Pond & Garden Depot toll-free at 1-866-305-5459 Cody H. Customer Service Fiberglass Surface Tooth – Thoroughly sand fiberglass with 60-grit sandpaper. Cleaning – It is recommended that the finished surface be cleaned with wax and grease remover prior to coating. Use one lint-free cloth to apply the wax and grease remover and another separate cloth to remove it. Use gloves to keep from contaminating the surface as you clean it. Application – Gloves should be worn during the application process as the oil in your fingertips could be enough to contaminate the surface of the fiberglass.
