It has a mild odor while applying, but it disappears quickly.

Q: Can this be used on sucklings to prevent them from growing?

Tree Wound Pruning Sealer will provide a seal on pruning cuts preventing excessive sap flow and excludes moisture while the cut closes. Not labeled for use to prevent sucker growth.

Q: How far will one can go? I have a small grove of quaking aspen that have a lot of damage from animals chewing the bark off them this winter.

It will cover about a 3 square foot area with a nice coverage coat.
