Are the lids dishwasher safe?

Under ”about this product” it says that it is not but under “product description” it says that the lid is dishwasher safe. Am I reading something wrong?

Are the lids also Microwave safe?

They are not. I bought these under the impression the lids were microwave safe. The first time in the microwave (lids not latched, just resting on top) they warped under the heat of the food inside the container.

I see these are made in china but is it designed in the usa?

Small containers are great for lunch items.

Great storage items and store well in cabinets, fridge, and freezer. Downside, no vent on lids to prevent warping or lid popping off during reheating in microwave.
