Great Fit and Adhetion
Installed this on my 08 Passat and it has been great. It came with two pieces of double-sided tape to use to adhere to the original mount. I was a little nervous at first and thought I might need some epoxy as well but went with what it had and it has held up great over the past 6 thousand or so miles I have put on it so far. Even with crazy hot temps where I live (hitting 100 already), the mirror hasn't moved one bit. Looks just like the original mirror and functions perfectly.Install was super in that I cleaned the mounting plate, removed the double-sided tape backing and stuck on to the mirror backing, left overnight, and haven't touched it since.
