Got these for my boyfriend’s dad who absolutely loves all things olives. I read the reviews as I am not much of an olive fan and bought them for him for Christmas. Safe to say, he LOVED them! He still raves about how tasty they were.

The picture of this item shows a pepper tapenade. The descriptions says a Spanish ketchup is included. I guess I should have read the small print more closely. I really wanted the pepper tapenade and cannot use the ketchup at all. This item is not returnable so I’m out $45. The other tapenades tasted fine. They are very smooth and I like the little wooden spreaders that are included. And the roasted red peppers are really good. I did contact the seller and they got right back to me and offered to send me something else, which wasn’t necesssary. But I do appreciate how responsive they were!

Unlike American or Italian Olives, I was surprised to find that these are actually quite bland tasting. I was looking for some tang to them.The Caper Berries were bland and mushy rather than crisp and tasty like I am accustomed to.Perhaps this is what they serve in Spain and others might really like them but I would not order them again.
