I should have purchased one of these griddles years ago. I basically don’t use my stove anymore since purchasing this, the side burner really makes a difference. It is easy to use, easy to season if you are unsure there are thousands of videos on YouTube to guide you through it and clean up is a breeze. The size is perfect. It is high quality and easy to assemble. Heat distribution can vary, but just buy an inferred thermometer and you can adjust the temperature perfectly. Great value for the money and it is very versatile. This was easy to assemble, and looks great. It cooks like a dream. I will WARN you, that the Blackstone Universal Griddle Stand with Adjustable Leg and Side Shelf - Made to fit 17” or 22”; that they try to bundle with this, WILL NOT WORK WITH THIS GRIDDLE COMBO!!!!!!! Make sure you look at the dimensions. Center to Center on the feet of this is roughly 33.25"x14.25" and I am not sure that it is wide enough either. IT WILL NOT WORK.... Just wanted to give people a heads up about that... The griddle and burner combo is a hit out of the park though!! It's nice to boil your brats and then grill them at the same time as your onions or kraut!!!!!!!! It's a great price for it as well.... I know I will enjoy this thing for many more years!!!!!!

We live on the road so I thought this would be a great upgrade from my $50 camp stove that has lived a good life but is definitely showing it’s age. I like this grill, especially because it has a flat top and burner. I expected it to be heavier but the issue is the width of it when you try to pick it up to move it to the tailgate or a table. I’m a smaller female but I don’t know anyone with a shoulder width that wouldn’t find this awkward to lift. I am also bummed that the grill top rust super easily so keeping this in the back of your truck or something to have on hand is basically out. I tried to get a cover for it and didn’t see anything by this brand available so I ended up with a generic one that is basically a tarp with a draw string and it has almost flew off on the interstate several times. As a stand alone, I like it but it’s just cumbersome and high maintenance for a travel grill unless it lives in your garage for occasional camp trips.

I have a Blackstone in a camper I am selling so wanted another one for the camper I am buying. I love the Blackstone I have (17") so when I saw the side burner I hit buy now without checking weight, reviews etc.I was going to return it, but it said to use the shipment method of my choice - not a free UPS return and it is HEAVY. So I went to Lowes and bought a portable 17" Blackstone to use with the table I purchased that is too small (to use with the camper) and ordered another table that is big enough for this unit to use at home. The good news is I now have two Blackstones, but bad news is I have put way more money into this then I intended !

I feel duped, and that's my fault.Amazon calls this the 1860 "On the Go", while another version known as the "Omnivore" at one of the Camping stores sells this in-store or online for $260. The item itself is great, but now I feel like I was cheated out of $120.It comes with what you need to connect to a 5gal propane tank. So a bit less portable than something that would connect to a 1lb tank. Still, portable enough for camping which is what I bought it for.The side burner... you'll need a decent size pan or griddle. The cast iron burner grill leaves a large hole in the middle without any support. Any small or medium sized coffee percolators won't sit directly over the flame. Seems like an oversight for something portable/intended for tailgating, camping, etc. I'd say that is fine if you intend to put a cast iron fry pan over it... but if you have 22" of griddle, and a side burner - wouldn't you want the side burner for something your griddle space doesn't already do? If not - you'd just buy the 36" griddle and no side burner. Shrug.

The propane hose that comes with it is too short.
