I use DaVinci Resolve video editor and bought the £280 Speed Controller by DaVinci. It has the best jog/shuttle wheel I've ever used, and by some distance. The SC is superb, but only when it works. I, and a number of others according to forums, have problems connecting the SC to the software. It works about 50-60% of the time. Not good enough. I bought the Contour V2 following recommendations. The jog/shuttle wheel is inferior to that of the SC. Everything else is great, especially the fully programmable keys. I've set mine up so every control falls to hand whereas the SC's many more keys are spread all over, and I frequently have to look for the one I want. This alone makes me forgive the inferior, but not poor, jog/shuttle. In one way the dial is better in that the further you turn the outer wheel of the V2, the faster the feed. I prefer the SC, but not at three times the price. Not at twice the price. I'm learning to live with the generally inferior wheel controls. I thoroughly recommend the Contour V2. If the Resolve 19 software upgrade allows the SC to connect, I don't know if I'll change back. Well done, Contour. Excellent product.
