This is a nice little squirrel feeder, although it took my two sisters about five days before they would mess with it, they would come up and sniff at it, but wouldn’t get on It wouldn’t touch it just stretch and sniff, then they started getting on it and sitting on it top of it and everything still not getting no nuts out of it, then one day the one little sister that I call pickle she decided she wanted the nuts and she got them, she took the little piece of clear plexiglass out of it and threw it well I found it put it back in there, she let it stay for about a day and a half and she done the same thing again, except this time she done it when we had eight or 9 inches of snow on the ground lol, I’m out there digging in the snow to find it, I found it, I put it back and she’s not done it since lol, like I said, the one little sister‘s name is pickle, and the other one’s name is peanut because she’s the smallest one, but they both have learned how to get into it. They both lift that little lid and grab them a nut out of there and takeoff with it, but one thing else they did to it they chewed on the corner of the lid so they definitely made it theirs lol, and it is theirs, it’s a good little feeder worth every penny I’ve not had a bit of problems with it other than the top lid is kind of warping a little, but that’s because of the weather the moisture all that it’s gonna make wood that’s not treated do that, but for the price if it lasts me three or four or five months I’ll just get a new one

Works well could use soft tabs to prevent loud slamming of top that scares squirrels. I put tape there. Brackets could be stronger as if you drop it they come off. Otherwise perfect for squirrels and stops bluejays from glomming up all their nuts.

Purch is too small. Needs more area for squirrel comfort.

I love feeding my Squirrels so I would put peanuts in the feeder every morning and at night I would put the feeder away in a big trash bin. One night I forgot to store it away and the raccoons came in and destroyed it, bummer.
