I liked 1st unit so much, bought another!
Camera quality excellent 2.5k and 1080p, touch screen responsive and easy set up. Daytime video excellent. I had issues with rear camera and bad headlight glare at night as other reviews. I don’t think the rear camera is the upgraded Sony IMX335. However when I mounted the camera higher up on the car that helped significantly. I liked the 1st one so much, I bought another. Interestingly, using the voice control on one is quick and precise. However on the other unit, voice control seems to work only if I use a higher pitched voice than normal and seems to need multiple attempts to work?Overall great value, but will see how durable the units are in hot central CA heat.

Best Rear-View / Blind-Spot View / Backup Display
2.5K Vantop Mirror front & rear Dash Cam(Review, as of 12/12/23)Daily use for 27 months for personal transportation in a semi-rural Midwest US area, and it's still working. But it has a few bugs. The #1 best thing I like about it, is the superb wide-angle rear view, that also eliminates the side blind-spots in daytime, early morning, late afternoon use, and at night with my super-bright LED backup light bulbs, (as my truck's tinted rear and side windows can't be seen through at night), and at night only where there is a LOT of city or street lights. For otherwise the rear-view is extremely grainy & useless in the dark. And night car headlights in dark roadways behind me, are bright, glaring, so at night time in the country, I turn off the display. The best time to use it is in the morning just before the dawn, until mid-morning, and mid-afternoon until just after dusk, or on overcast days, as bright daylight causes reflections that make it difficult to see what is displayed on the screen, as the screen is glossy and not with a matte (non-reflective) finish. With the shock sensor set to Medium, it randomly automatically safety records without even a jarring movement. Twice that I needed the 'emergency video', the mirror had not recorded the incident. So, for insurance recordings, it is unreliable and inconsistent. I like the voice command operation. And the display touch sensitivity is good. The worst thing about it, if I forget to unplug the power (lighter adapter) plug, it drains the battery on my SUV. So, parking mode is useless, unless you plug it up to a different battery than the main one. And there is a glitch that when I unplug the power, it tries to power-up several times before it stays off. The bottom line? The price has more than doubled since I bought mine. As far safety recordings, more reliable units are available, but with much smaller displays. But for rear and peripheral rear side views, the Vantop 2.5k dual Front and 1080p Rear Mirror Dash Cam can't be beat!

Good cam, but developed dead pixels within a week of use
As others have stated, rear cam isnt very practical at night. But that's expected, as backup cams are to be installed at a lower position, which also happens to be in-line with the low beams on cars behind. So you just turn off the display with the bottom button at night and I have had no problems.Front camera quality is excellent. Touchscreen is responsive and fast like smartphones.Install was simple enough. You may want a voltmeter and a partner to put the gears into reverse while you confirm you are tapping into the right reverse power wire.Parking sensor function is pretty useful, but I had the sensitivity so high that whenever I shut off my car and leave, the impact the door makes upon closure would trip the camera and start recording. After I lowered the sensitivity it's all good.Only negative is that it developed dead pixels vertically down the middle of the display (see pics). It's annoying but luckily this happened within the return window so I am getting a replacement.Hopefully the next unit is going to be ok.

Camera Overexposure Don't Buy
Camera quality is useless at night with headlights. Overexposure is REALLY bad. Touch screen works good, install is pretty easy. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. My regular SD card works fine.Would recommend this product, but the overexposure with the cameras is really bad. Choose a product with better hardware.

Lots of problems
Here are my gripes:The screen is too reflective. You have to angle it down which throws off the front camera somewhat. It has no auto brightness, so I keep the brightness in the middle at all times. And sometimes the mirror randomly goes dim and you have to tap the screen to reset it.The rear camera is dangerously underexposed at night. You can’t see anything when there is no light behind you, and when there are headlights behind you, the glare completely washes everything out. The mirror is completely useless at night. My cheaper mirror that I got a year before did not have this problem. To make matters worse, the camera has no oleophobic or anti-fog coatings, so when it’s raining the mirror also becomes useless. In other words, the mirror is useless in 2 out of 3 conditions. The mirror has no speedometer as far as I know, even though there is an included GPS antenna.Recordings are formatted in FAT instead of EXT, which makes the SD card unreadable on my Mac. Very annoying. Not to mention there was no SD card included. Again, my cheaper mirror included one.If you’re looking for a mirror that will look good in all conditions, look for a better one.

Great price and view
I purchased the camera because of price. But when I replaced the old mirror camera, this was so much better. The view takes up the whole mirror my old one doesn't. The voice control blew me away. Now I want to purchase more to replace my old mirrors. The touchscreen settings, you can change a few settings without going to the menu.
