One of the best fishing products ever.
I'm a hard-core saltwater kayak and surf fisherman. Nothing stands up to salt, but these last very long. Not the greatest stainless, but not bad. I dunk everything in a bucket of warm water when I get home for at least 3 hours as salt will destroy rubber too over time. When I'm on the kayak or the jetty in tough treacherous conditions, i only want one tool on me and this is it. It can draw the largest 5/0 VMC trebles from a Bluefish's mouth - and side of the face usually without a problem. Great for everything and it clamps onto my PFD or my surf jacket collar so it's easy to get out of the way quickly when working with a fish in tough conditions. No holster - it's very quick to get to when you need it. I've tried a lot of these, but having the rubber on the finger holes is worth every penny over bare stainless. Longer ones are great for accidental gut hooked fish or keeping your fingers away from toothies.

Love this tool
It's a heavy duty forceps for removing hooks and a line cutter

They work
Not the best but do a good job. Last set when locked was hard to unlock. Good enough!

Big but good too!
I bought these for use during some upcoming largemouth bass fishing. Upon receiving them, I thought these things were way too big in length and almost sent them back unopened. Decided to give them a try in action and they are perfect for largemouth and other large fish. Used them on some large 4-5 lb bass and was able to retrieve the hooks deep into the fish, even able to spare the fish a little in the process (but still had to hurt too!). The only downside is the clasps are a little too tight to loosen but once set, they held well. I would recommend it...just not for small fish like panfish or small breeds of trout.

Gets The Job Done
Nice solid forceps with nice feeling handles. Grabs the hook or the line solid. Makes the jobe much easier.

Great quality heavy duty forceps
I had this set 15 years before loosing them overboard on a fishing trip. Same quality as my old set. Perfect for removing hooks from large and toothy fish.

Workmanship could use work
I’m a CNC machinist these seem good just the tip is all lop-sided and it probably won’t affect the use of it but it drives my ocd crazy! I wouldn’t send a part out looking non uniform like this

Top notch forceps for fishing, they work very well for hook removal and are great for cutting line too.I use these for everything from Crappie to Northern Pike.Grab base of hook and twist way from the hook point - - - hook is out!Very handy, any serious fisherman will want a pair with him on the water.
