Oh boy, where do I even start with the "Bro Code" by Barney Stinson? This book is more than just a simple guide on how to be a bro - it's a manifesto for all the dudes out there who take their bro-ness seriously.First of all, let's talk about the cover. I mean, look at that handsome devil staring back at you with his perfectly-groomed hair and smug expression. It's like he knows he's the ultimate bro and he's not afraid to show it.But don't be fooled by his charm - inside this book lies a treasure trove of bro-ism that will have you fist-bumping and high-fiving like a pro in no time. Want to know how to properly shotgun a beer? Check. Need advice on how to handle a wingman situation? Check. Curious about the art of the fake phone call to get out of a bad date? Check, check, and check.But the real reason I'm giving this book five stars is because it's just so darn funny. From the ridiculous bro-slang to the over-the-top bro anecdotes, I found myself laughing out loud on more than one occasion. Plus, the illustrations are pretty top-notch too.So if you're a bro, know a bro, or just want to get in touch with your inner bro, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of the "Bro Code" ASAP. You won't regret it. Bro's honor.

My son heard about this book and wanted me to purchase it for him. It came out of the show "how I met your mother" which I have never seen before until the kid asked for the book. I read the book myself and it's a funny one, just like the show!

Basically lays down all the rules.

Pretty good shape. A little bent but obviously well taken care of and loved. How I met Your Mother was my childhood I love this.

I was looking for something that was low on think and high on laugh. This definitely fit the bill! You are most likely going to rip through this pretty quickly. Think of it as a collection of one liners that are likely to at least get you grinning and in some cases laughing out loud.While the eBook/Kindle version gives you all the words, after looking at the print version, it definitely does not give you the full experience. Some of the great gags in here are tied to pictures and images in the book. While an attempt is made to include these in the eBook version, it really does not cut it. They are hard to make out and end up contributing far less to the fun than they do in the print version.Clearly, this is one of those examples of what we sometimes lose in the translation from print copy to eBook.

An essential guy book; very funny.

For my kid, IYKYK thts what he says! Fun and cheesy book. Loved it! Glad he got. Kick out of it too.

The bro code was an amazing book! I'm glad I was able to learn how to be the best bro I could be, and more about my "brocabulary." It was written in a more modern way so that it was easily able to keep my attention the whole book. After watching How I Met Your Mother, I was excited to read more about the bro code after it was shown multiple times in the show and quoted in nearly every episode. Some of the rules in there were already made popular and I've heard them before. Some were new to me, while some were also a given and already happening in my life. I'm glad I was able to read this book and would highly recommend it to any one interested in where they are in the bro category. Barney Stinson, and other authors, did fabulous with this book. I would rank it as LEGEN wait for it.... DARY!
