Easy to rehydrate
I placed the coconut coir in a wheelbarrow and slowly added 5 total gallons of water to the top of the block - pausing 5 minutes between each gallon to scrape it with a hoe - and the block loosened easily. The finished texture is soft and lightweight. Added it to the compost in my vegetable garden this morning.

Will definitely buy more. Great for my box turtle, and his worms live a long time if he doesn't eat them.
