I wanted a case that would protect my Mac without hiding it, and that would add minimal bulk. This case does all that quite nicely.The case fits snugly and securely, and looks great. It's thin and nearly weightless. I don't imagine it would protect the MacBook against a drop onto concrete from a second-story window, but I'm on the first floor, so.... Seriously, it should protect fine against smudges, abrasions, and minor impact.Tip: when installing your case, make sure to fit the rearward parts into place first, and then snap in the side and front edges. It goes on much more easily this way than if you try to fit the rear edges in last.All in all, a great-looking, great-fitting case -- the only one I've found that protects with only minor detraction from the aesthetics of the MacBook itself.

This protective case is a very good fit for my new 12" MacBook. It snaps on easily and feels secure once it's on, but can be removed also without much difficulty. The rubber feet on the bottom keep it from slipping when placed on a hard surface and the case does not impede or change how the Macbook opens or closes. This clear plastic case also looks great on my rose gold MacBook! Be aware though, because this case is shiny, it will show fingerprints. It's not too noticeable on the rose gold color but something to consider if that type of thing would bother you. Fingerprints would not likely be as noticeable on a matte-finish case, but I love the look so much of this shiny clear case, I wouldn't change it. A lovely case and an excellent value.

I bought the crystal clear case about 6 months ago and it has held up decently for what it is. It's a very beautiful case though scratches and smudges will accumulate of course about a few weeks in. For protecting your MacBook against scratches and minor falls, I cannot complain with its beautiful design as my MacBook is like new. It can be fairly fragile with cracks and pieces breaking off after a few months but you can hit up macasing for the one year warranty through amazon and they will send you one in less than a week. Awesome really with fast response. If you set your expectations correctly then this product will be just for you.

I loved the look of this case and got many compliments. Only issue I've had is it gets blurry / not so clear after a while. There Arte no cracks in it yet and for the price not bad. It does a good job of keeping my laptop protected.

It looks great. Installs easily. But, you know, plastic and all. I have had it six weeks and the last two corner cracks started appearing. Then a kind of long one from the side tab. I was afraid of that very thing but just had to try it out. It was a "buyer beware" purchase. I had another cover that lasted much longer but not nearly as cool looking or feeling. Also the clear plastic does not make the Mac look or feel any bigger.If ONLY these guys could find the right material. The look, feel and care in packaging was all good.I wanted the case as I am housebound now due to illness and am carrying that from room to room to room and feel it will more easily scratch than in a normal business climate just going into and out of a sleeve/bag thing.Well, keep looking people. This case is great: lightweight, well built, completely clear. I carry my laptop all day in my backpack with my law school books, which to say they're heavy is an understatement, and it holds up very well. I couple this case with a fleece sleeve and it's an affordable protection alternative. One of my classmates hast the Speck competitor and the edges are chipped and the case has cracked, yet mine holds strong. I really think that it's strength is due to the the fact that the plastic isn't too thick (that's what makes it so lightweight), so it's more malleable and reactive to potential impacts. Overall, great value for the price. I will be recommending it (and if it eventually breaks, will buy again).

This looks like a nice cover and does fit nice & snug, however after just a few weeks, the cover has already cracked. Mind you, I have never dropped the laptop, which means this case is not sturdy and easily cracks. On the positive -it looks good, but if you want a reliable case, find something else.

This case is awesome!! I had read the reviews and decided to give it a try since I am really hard on my laptops. The case is hard enough to protect my 12" macbook but adds no weight. Well, maybe it adds the weight of a couple kernels of popcorn, but that's it. It's sleek and doesn't degrade the feel and look of my macbook. Snaps on easy and hasn't fallen off once. Definitely a great product that I highly recommend. And no, I wasn't paid and DIDN'T get anything for FREE for my review.
