Prefect bell ringer
Great book! A coworker recommended it to me, and now I use it every day with my 7th graders. We love the consistent fix the sentences and the variety of the last two. Many good conversations and explanations have come up!

I love these books!
I teach fifth grade and have purchased and used this book in addition to Daily Science, Daily Math, and Daily Geography. I love all of them for a number of reasons. It makes for great seat work at the beginning of a class period, it helps me identify gaps in learning and the kids enjoy the work. Overall, I find these books to be a valuable tool in my classroom.

Useful but not perfect for my needs
I've been looking for resources to help my homeschooled children (5th, 7th, and 9th) recognize and repair common mechanical and grammatical errors. We have used "Easy Grammar Daily-Grams" for years and gotten value from it, but it focuses strongly on sentence combining. All three kids struggle more with run-on sentences than any tendency towards choppiness, so I was looking for resources to help here. This book isn't probably what I am looking for as far as spotting and correcting run-ons. It focuses especially on subject/verb mismatch, homonyms, and punctuation, although I see there are some exercises on run-on sentences later in the volume. I've had my kid skip the questions that ask her to "explain what the underlined clause tells us," or explain a particular metaphor, because they're somehow simultaneously unclear, trivial, and tedious. It is definitely not too hard for my 5th grader.I'd love to find an exercise book especially focused on run-ons and rephrasing for clarity. For better or for worse, built-in spell- and grammar-checkers are catching most of the errors this books is teaching kids to find.

The only warm-up your kids need
After years of using Six-Way Paragraphs, DOL's, TAKS Toppers, and other assorted warm-ups, I finally found Daily Language Review (DLR's) and have not looked back. These warm-ups with spiraling skills are fantastic. There are only 5 questions each day, and they provide me an opportunity to give mini-grammar lessons and constantly reinforce skills that have already been taught. The format is easy to follow, and there are enough to use throughout the school year. This is a great resource. Every English teacher I've ever shown them to has wanted her own copy!

this is great for the bell ringer/warm up and the exit
As a 7th grade teacher, this is great for the bell ringer/warm up and the exit. I split each day into 2 segments. Makes planning easier. And it's all concepts that the students need to/should know.

All you need to home educate!
These books are great. We home educated, and have been using this series since third grade. It is all we really need. No need to spend hours and hours of language arts. We do this every day. If there is an area that the child continues to not understand, we will pull out another workbook, and work on a page of just that. Love it!!

PERFECT RESOURCE FOR ANY ENGLISH CLASS
I chose 5 stars for this purchase because it was exactly what it was advertised as, a valuable classroom asset, quick and easy to use. Great for second language learners and those behind 2 or more grades with skills. This book was $26 at two teacher resource stores near where I live and it was 10 to 12 $ cheaper through amazon.

Love the fact that this covers many concepts
Love the fact that this covers many concepts. However, that can also be the downfall. You can't really give it as a homework assignment because you often need to teach one or more of the concepts covered. It can take a while to go through even if you go through it as a class. My students have computers so I told them to use their computer as a tool and look up those questions we haven't covered. I could also just eliminate the questions that deal with concepts not covered. Overall, I am glad I purchased it.
