SL500 Candy
The original plugs in my 18 year old SL500 with 69k miles seemed great, so I thought. After installing 16 of these and putting dielectric grease on the plug wires, this SL accelerates like mad.

Amazon Car Fitment Guide Imprecise
Do not trust the Amazon garage feature. Their fitment guide is not reliable and optimized for all vehicles. I have a 1994 Mercedes C280. Platinum plugs are not recommended. Such a vehicle should only use copper plugs. When you want to buy the correct plugs they are fitment guide says it does not fit. So, I do not trust it and go with what service manuals and repair experts suggest. I am not using the spark plugs and I bought them way too early so I am unable to return. I suppose I will sell them at a garage sale someday.
