I have received it within in a day. Absolutely quick. It does the job giving 4hours operating time to my laptop that was 1.5 hours before.

I have a Dell 5289 probably 4 years old the battery in the photo is dead, 10 mins or less life! Obviously I need a new battery I ordered this higher capacity lower voltage one, but two issues I found. One the securing holes on the battery are not exactly as per original, they don't all line up perfectly, and more importantly the 10 pin female connector seems to have slightly smaller diameter holes than the original, it won't push in to the make connector (I didn't want to press too hard) so I could not test the battery and had to return it. I will buy an original Dell now I think.

The battery just didn't take any charge after fitting, left the laptop on charge for 24hrs and no change to the charge state. Would not recommend as other simlar batteries avaibale around this price and they worked.

All was perfect - impressive even - for five months, but then the battery kept randomly reporting as faulty, absent and fully-charged, all at the same time, making it unusable away from the charger. All my suspicions about non-genuine batteries confirmed. No obvious means of contacting seller, Amazon couldn't give a fig as it's after 30 days.After a lot of searching I eventually found a way of contacting the seller through Amazon, and there was no argument - a replacement arrived two days later.You have to make a choice: £50 for a pattern part or £113 for a genuine.

Wrong battery for the dell 2 in 1 even though it says compatible. This is a 7v battery not the required 11v.Tried to get in touch with supplier but no details so will have to buy another, not happy
