BendyFigsUniversal Monsters Creature from The Black Lagoon

Excellent addition to my desk.

I am a long-time fan of the Creature. My interest in the Creature was not sparked by the classic 1954 movie. I didn't get to see this movie until 2003. My interest started with the old Universal Monsters model kits made by Aurora. The first of these model kits that Dad bought me was the Creature. Back then (in 1966), there were no action figures like the Hasbro, Mattel or McFarlane Toys that we have today. This Bendy Creature figure is a must-have addition in my collection of Creature figures even though it is not really a representation of the Universal monster. There is only superficial resemblance. The body is very scaly - well-crafted. It stands at 6 inches. This bendy figure is a true toy unlike the stiff Sideshow Creatures which are accurate representations of the Universal monster but are intended more for display than for playing. Made of tough plastic, the Bendy figure is durable His body parts won't fall apart easily when Junior plays rough. Provided are photos to give you an idea of the size of the Bendy figure in comparison with other Creature figures by other manufacturers. The first is a close-up of the figure. This is followed by photos of the Bendy in the company of a 3.75-inch Creature from the 1980s, an old Marx plastic model (no movable parts), a 10-inch Creature (manufacturer unknown), an 8-inch Sideshow Creature , a 3.75-inch Funko Creature and the latest in my collection - an 8-inch Mego figure (which will be reviewed separately). For more size comparison, I added in the second photo a Masters of the Universe 5-inch Merman and a 6-inch movie version of Aquaman . In the last photo , I put in a 5-inch Toy Biz Triton from the 1994 Fantastic Four.

Absolutely amazing product, amazing details, the only bad thing is the face looks nothing like the actual creature from the black lagoon but it’s not a total lost work good for me in my aquarium. Will buy again A+++

A cool looking bendy figure of the Universe Monsters 2021 series.The figure bends slightly on arms and legs that is hard to move or move into prosition.It almost looks like the Universe Monster Creature of the Black Lagoon monster, but it didn't get it just the right look.I put my bendy creature into my fish tank believe or not, and it's fine with the fish!!No problems with the fish and how amazing it looks in a fishtank, with the real fish swimming around the bendy figure!!Worth the price at $15 and 4 stars in 2021 before it is sold out.

I debated on getting this for awhile. I went ahead and purchased it. LOVE IT! I have not taken mine out of the packaging as its for a collection I have of memorabilia for this movie.
