This is such a good idea, but it doesn't work as well as I'd like. The wick doesn't bring the moisture upward fast enough; if I use it with the bottle upright, it will stop producing vapor very quickly. The problem seems to be worse the drier it is in the room. It works a little better if I tilt the bottle about 45 degrees by leaning it on something. Usually a 1/4- 1/3 cup of water is released into the air between me messing with it by refilling the bottle and flipping the wick upside down. The length of time it takes to automatically turn off varies, and I haven't been able to figure out how long it stays on or if it detects when no vapor is present.I've used it in a tiny space: inside my pet snake's tank to raise the humidity levels in a more constant and long-term way than using a spray bottle was. It's helped significantly, but I've had to do a lot of fiddling around to get it to work.

This product works very well however the filter is very short so I have to keep refilling the water bottle....doesn't even last through my work day without adding water. And....it does not fit most water bottles as the description states. I work for a water company and had to go through numerous bottles before I found one that it fit and that bottle was a skinny neck bottle so the water runs out even more quickly. I have it set on top of a bottle just not screwed in.

I wanted something for my cubicle at work. I spend so much time here and my nose gets so dry. I use a saline spray but I noticed I was using it WAY too often. I perused amazon and found this. Easy set up, my work supplies generic water bottles, it fits. For the price and convenience and size, I'll probably by another for my bedside table. I hate the big setups that have to be cleaned repeatedly to prevent build up and then you have to buy expensive filters to boot. --Edited to add that the standard USB charging plug can be changed to something longer if need be, it's the same type of charger I use for my Samsung cell phone.

Works wonderfully well on a small mouth bottle of water -works on Kirkland bottles but not Dasani bottles. Shuts off automatically so no danger of burning out. When it's on, a blue ring lights up. If no blue light, you know it' s "off". Unobtrusive too - unlike huge humidifiers, it takes up very little space on the desktop. Have had it for two weeks and hope it lasts a long time. I had to buy a longer cord to plug it into an electrical outlet - that cost me $5 at Five Below.

this is a great product. Use it all the time.

I thought this was a great idea for our hotel room while we were on vacation. Very disappointed that it did not work when we first used it.. it had great reviews, which is why I purchased this one. Guess we received a defective one. :(

Returned it . . . did not work as suggested

Makes a horrible low buzzing kind of noise. Can't use it because it drives me crazy.
