MedVance Silicone Tape 2" Wide Soft with Perforation and Cuttable (1 Pack, 1.5 Yards)

I am reviewing the 2" tape. I'm constantly "spring leaks" in my legs, my word for the wounds that appear on my legs. I got tired of using surgical tape and bandaids that did not stick, so I ordered two different silicone tapes. Both work well, but this outshines everything I've tried. In case anyone else has these troubles, I use medical grade silver honey, which must be replaced daily. Over that I put cut squares of silver calcium alginate, and now over this I use the 2" silicone tape. It lasts longer than a day, though I must replace the setup daily, but all three really work to heal the wounds, while nothing else did.

Simply put, I didn’t believe this would work. As an “old” and longtime CPAP user I could no longer find a chin strap that would force me to breathe through my nose and not my mouth. I had read the advertisements and dismissed them as hype, but in desperation I decided to try this product. (Queue the music..) works wonderfully! Easy to apply and more importantly, easy and painlessly removed. The adhesive is strong and does last the entire night but I do have to have a fairly close shave. I’m using the 2” tape and do still have my doubts about the 1” product. A great solution to a difficult issue (for me).

I think one canister of this product lasts about a month if you use it over your mouth every night. I have found that one double strip placed diagonally has done the trick. Sometimes I even reuse the strip. And it's a gentle material on my skin. It really works, but I wish it weren't so costly.

Strong and works well for mouth taping, it stays on all night.

If your skin is dry-dry, it *might* stick. If it's damp, oily, there's humidity in the air, or anything, it's not sticking.I love that it doesn't leave any adhesive behind when you take it off. I also love that it doesn't dry my skin out or hurt after taking it off.

I can put this on my mouth at night and it keeps my mouth shut and I do not snore. And it does not harm my skin.

This was temporarily out of stock and I had to buy another brand. Something was just not right and my mouth was always itchy and dry using it. Glad to return to this brand. Comfortable and breathable. Perfect sizing for lips and the short rippable strips make it easy to tailor to the size you want.
