Clear Path Trading, Jumbo Raw Whole Walnuts in Shell, Snack Size, 1 lb

I eat raw, in-shell walnuts for medicinal purposes and they have had a dramatic impact on improving my eye health. Processed shelled raw walnuts do not provide the same health benefits and are only suitable for baking. It's difficult to find raw, in-shell walnuts in stores year round, because most grocers consider this product to be a seasonal item and only make it available during year end holidays.I have tried several brands and really like this one because there are very few inedible nuts in the bag and less waste.These nuts were a pleasant and tasty surprise, after having had several bad batches of raw walnuts from another supplier. A lot of suppliers cater to birds and not people but not this supplier. I will continue to order these monthly and hope that the quality remains excellent.

There were several in the 5-pound bag that I bought that were really dark shells. Once my macaw cracked it open, the inside was black. This may indicate that the nuts were frozen at one point. Just wanted to put that out there.UPDATE: 5 AUGUST 2016...I ordered a second 5 pound bag. Less black ones were visible. MUCH BETTER.

These are FANTASTIC!! Carefully packaged, with a freshness date stamped on the bag. Cracked a couple open and the meat inside was perfect. I've ordered from Clear Path before, and these are just as good as the Cajun Peanuts. Fresh, very tasty. My wife loved them too.Just a brief update. We ate the whole bag. I was a little concerned before buying as some folks had indicated they got some bad nuts in the bag. I can't vouch for them, but I can tell you that 100% of what came out of our bag was fresh, clean and delicious.

I decide to buy this big package because I like to crack and eat some nuts while on the couch watching a movie, and the price of these walnuts was pretty good compared with he other few options. Unfortunately these walnuts are clearly old, half of them is either totally dry and burnt inside or rotted. You cannot eat them before double checking how it looks before, or the taste can be pretty bad. Sorry, I would not suggest you to buy I and I won't buy it again for sure.

These tasted fine, but I don't think I will buy them again. They just were not worth the price to me.

This was the second order of these nuts and they are terrible. The first order was great. But the second was awful. My wife has thrown about half away as she cracked them. The inside looks black and what appears to be spider webs. A few appear to contain larva. I will not buy again.

Clear Path Trading Jumbo Raw Whole Walnuts in Shell, Bulk Size, 5 lb I received my order this afternoon. The walnuts looked good outside. I cracked open a few to try them out. More than half of them were either rotten on the inside or containing larva. I'm very disappointed.
