I bought this in August but just got around to needing it last week. The battery pack will not stay in the camera and even when I hold it in it does not power it. It is a very loose fit as the battery hook will not hold it.

This AC adapter has an M6-specific dummy battery, different from other LP-E17-powered DSLRs. It works well and hasn't had any hiccups with a lot of tethered use in less-than-stellar conditions.

This product works exactly like advertised. I own 4 of them. The battery door has a rubber cover on it. This needs to be rotated and the 3mm x 1 mm DC jack needs to be inserted from here to power the battery dummy. I’ve been using these for over a year and zero glitches.This adapter works on both the M6 and the M6 mkii. I have personally used it on both.

I use the canon M6 mark ll for streaming and video conferencing. This works perfect since the batteries usually only last a little over an hour. With this I can now sit through a day full of meetings 🤔.It pops in like a battery, close the door and open the little rubber tab on the bottom to plug it in.

Doesn't stay in the camera well at all. Worked the first time i used it but it doesn't work anymore.

Bought this to use my canon M6 mark ii as a “webcam” without having to worry about the battery dying on me mid-meeting. It worked perfectly and I’m happy with my purchase.

Did not work right out of the box. I will be returning this item.
