Please just buy this - not the Python
I've played a lot of racquetball in the past—used to be a coach, though I haven’t played in about 20 years. My wife wanted to get back into it for fitness, so we decided to grab some budget-friendly gear to start. After a bunch of research, the Python Intro 5000 was hands-down the most recommended beginner racquet. But when I checked Amazon, this HEAD MX 190 was cheaper, so I bought both—one Python, one HEAD.The Python felt lighter, so I gave that to my wife and used the HEAD myself. After about two weeks of playing, I was seriously impressed. Racquet technology has come a long way, but honestly, this racquet doesn’t feel far off from the high-end one I used back in the day.Great balance, nice design, solid finish, powerful shots, and minimal vibration. At this price? Unbelievable.I assumed my wife’s Python would be better—more expensive and more recommended, right?Out of curiosity, we switched racquets during a game.We both immediately agreed: the Python is garbage. It’s just lighter. That’s it.The HEAD has a better feel, better control on off-center hits, way better power, and (at least to us) better materials and design.I returned the Python right away.Look, I can’t give you lab test results or anything. But if you're looking for a beginner-to-intermediate racquet (even if you're a decent player—honestly, I also bought a $180 racquet after returning the Python and kinda regret it… it's good, but not that much better than the HEAD), just get this HEAD racquet, save your money, and use the rest for gloves or eyeguards. And thank me later.

Good racket
This works for me. Sturdy and handle well. I'm happy with it since racquetball is my secondary now, after pickleball.

Great prpduct!
Awesome product, have been playing for over a month with it, banging it a lot against the walls and not q problem. Grip is a little thin if you have big hands but nothing an overgrip wont fix

Handle breaks easily
I'm an intermediate racquetball player and I played maybe 4-5 games with this racquet and I felt the grip moving with each shot I placed. i originally thought the grip was loose but when I took the grip off, I saw that the racquet handle had actually cracked through and that I was feeling the bottom part move with each shot. Cannot not recommend enough that you spend your money on a racquet that is better than this one. Really disappointed because I usually side with using Head racquets but this one doesn't live up to the Head reputation.
