As we all know, Canon charge silly money for their genuine battery over similar items from third party manufacturers but we pay it because Canon also lock out third party batteries from certain power monitoring functionality within the camera. So yes the battery works very well, just as expected but 0/10 for value for money.

you get what you pay for with canon, this no exception well packaged. This is for my EOS 5D mk iv it is expensive. My grandson bought a cheaper battery not a canon, but it didn't last the distance. This battery, so they say gives an extra 17% more efficiency so I will be pleased if it does

all canon batteries are very expensive but when you pay 1000+ for your gear you need the best batteries for the job, does the job there supposed to do. I just wish there were 3rd party batteries like this one.
