Fragile Longing: An Age Gap Arranged Marriage Romance

I know many did not enjoy Sofia and Danilo, but I sure did! Danilo had caught my attention in Twisted Pride and knowing he now “had” to marry Sofia, I knew this book was going to be angsty. I loved the character development for Danilo! He did go through a difficult phase but I mean who wouldn’t ? Having his bride kidnapped and then being told you’d have to wait to marry again and marry the little sister yeah, I understood why he went through that wild phase. Now Sofia, my dear Sofia.. I felt so bad for her. But she just needed to grow up and realize her worth. I loved how both Danilo and Sofia worked on their relationship and gosh them spicy scenes were everything!! This book was just amazing! And will forever be one of my favorites!

Sofia and Danilo get their happily ever after in Fragile Longing! For those familiar with the Cora Mafia world, Danilo was supposed to marry Seraphina, Sofia's older sister, but since she was no longer available... he is offered Sofia instead. Sofia is thrilled. She's had a huge crush on Danilo and she sees this as her chance to be with him finally, but her fairy tale prince façade comes crashing down, because Danilo wants nothing to do with her.For starters, they enter the contract when Sofia is 11 and Danila is 21. He gets to party his way through society, and basically ignore the fact he has a fiancé (granted she is extremely young when they get engaged), which gets worse when she's older.I feel so bad for Sofia, because she feels as if she is trying to take her sister's place, with her parents and then Danilo. She wants to be loved so badly, but she never feels seen.Danilo is given almost 7 years to pretty much do what he wants, and he takes full advantage. As Sofia gets older, she makes advances, especially as they get closer to their wedding and she's almost 18, but Danilo shuts her down and continues to date with blondes (Sofia is brunette but older sister was a blonde), and continues to break her heart.Just before their nuptials, Danilo has a birthday party that was supposed to be like a one last big hurrah before the wedding and he screws up, and so begins his epic groveling. He really, really has to grovel to Sofia. And she deserves it. He didn't have to be such a jerk for so many years. He could've been sweet but still kept the rules and been polite.Danilo had a lot of making up to do to earn Sofia's heart and forgiveness in my opinion, but I think he was redeemable and he earned his redemption. I love Sofia, and I eventually liked Danilo. The Chicago guys have a bit of a complex, those dang rules they all follow!! I also love seeing Anna and Santino, their book is sooo good!!

The author did it again, this story was beyond amazing!! Fragile Longing is an intense, passionate and emotional age gap romance that captivated me from beginning to end.Sofia is a sweet and naive girl who is promised to Danilo instead of her sister who ran away with the enemy. She has always had a crush on Danilo, but now her insecurities win the game, she feels that she is not enough to fill the void that her sister left. But with the passage of time I loved to see her transform into a mature and confident woman determined to achieve her goals.Danilo is a proud, caring and protective man that loves his family but he is blinded by the rage of betrayal and the thirst for revenge towards Remo Falcone, who stole his ex-fiancée.Their relationship begins full of confusion, problems and misunderstandings, and the beginning of their marriage is difficult, but as time passes they get to know each other better, I loved to see the evolution of their relationship and how little by little their feelings change, and their connection is EVERYTHING, their chemistry jumps off through the pages. I swooned so hard! I loved them together.Cora Reilly is an exceptional author, I can't get enough of her words, this world and its families.This is a story about love, redemption and second chances that gave me all the feelings, get ready for a mafia romance that will leave you breathless

Beautiful story line! Been waiting for this book to come out and it came with every expectation and more :) Cora Reilly is one of my favourite authors, I love this whole series, it’s definitely worth to read ;) I would recommend it if your looking for something steamy, with an alpha hero and shy heroine who secretly carries a strong character :)

I’ve been waiting for these book since twisted pride, I was so curios to see how their history will play out and honestly I am not disappointed at all! Loved Danilo so much! I mean I did wanted to punch him once or twice during the book but that’s normal (I think lol), but he was so sweet and caring for Sofia when he realized that Sofia wasn’t just a consolation prize. And don’t get me started with his relationship with Emma! He just loves his sister so much and honestly Emma deserves all the love (can’t wait for her and Samuel book, also I want to punch him), the scene where they dance in the wedding got me in all the feels.Now Sofia, sweet baby Sofia, honestly she was a surprise for me, I though she wouldn’t have a spine and do anything Danilo asked of her till she realized her worth, but I was surprise to see that she not only had a spine, she was not afraid to use it. She was the absolute perfect fit for Danilo and they understood each other perfectly! I loved their dynamic so much!And lastly but not less important ANA! Oh my god, do I loved Ana with a fiery passion, she is an amazing character, she was the absolute best friend in the world to Sofia and I LOVED and I mean LOVED her banter with Santino, Im shipping the so haaaaard. Can’t wait for her book and to see with who she ends up with!

Absolutamente amo os livros da Cora e esse não foi diferente.O livro incrível , apesar de me deixar p*** em alguns momentos, pela imaturidade da Sofia e do orgulho exacerbado do Danilo.Mas eles compensam isso ao longo do livro, principalmente a partir dos 55% da história.E o que falar da parte hot desse livro. Meu deus. Fogo no parquinho. E a química que foi sendo construída entre o casal! Danilo com certeza se tornou um dos meus mocinhos preferidos. Quando ele decidiu tirar a cara da bunda, a sua preocupação com o bem estar e a satisfação de Sofia foi muitooo fofo. Ah, e claro, acrescente uma boa dose de sacanagem e dirty talk no pacote, junto com muito amor compreensão.O livro entrou pra minha lista de favoritos fácil fácil!Mais uma vez, Parabéns Cora Reilly!!!

Loved it! I'm glad I picked this one from Cora Reilly. Much better than Aria and Luca's story. We can see Sofia growing up and become a woman through the book. I would love to read more about the Outfit, and a continuation of their story. Like Growl story, I feel like there are things missing. Really love this one.
