Simply Amazed!!!
We have a very good, well-trained dog who has always done some brief alert barking and who also loved to bark at the TV every time there was a dog on the screen. We haven’t been able to watch films or shows with dogs in them for ages! It was frustrating because all other parts of her training had always been very easy. In spite of our working with her on this daily, she still loved to let us know someone was nearby and could possibly be a serial killer! She was trained at an early age to be a therapy dog. She did pretty well with limiting the alert barking until we made an interstate move. Our new home had a lot more exposure to seeing the street and she clearly was uncomfortable with some of the folks walking with and without dogs and she was barking and getting very agitated for every time someone walked by our home. Our big move seemed to have disrupted her flow and undermined some of her behaviors that we thought were solid. We spent a very dim few months in our new home with the shades down much of the time. The alert barking was completely normal, relatively brief, intended for us (as she has never done it while we are away from the house), and never rose to the level of “nuisance.” However, we had a neighbor who reported a dog from across the street to animal control for “excessive barking,” which was more a function of the neighbor being nasty than the dog actually barking too much. The pet parents got a courtesy citation on the complaint. We did not get one, but figured it would be best to try something to ensure we never got reported. When you live next to a jerk who would report a dog to AC before even talking to the people involved, you definitely need to play defense! Right?I was very resistant to any type of aversive methods, but did a bit of research and landed on this collar for our pup (a 7 y/o (f) Goldendoodle with a BIG bark). Once I decided on it, I was pretty skeptical about its potential for effectiveness. It has made me very happy to be 100% wrong. The improvement for our girl was IMMEDIATE after her first session wearing this collar. She stopped the alert barking and also seemed much more relaxed when she would see people walking by our house. She also stopped barking, lunging, and trying to jump into the TV when dogs are on. It has not taken long at all and she is now able to get through the day without the collar on, so we just use it occasionally and randomly to ensure she doesn’t resume the barking. The unit on the collar simply vibrates when they bark and, if they bark again, it emits a weird sound like the old fashioned “hey, your phone is off the hook” noise. Her reaction to the vibration is just a moment of confusion like she’s wondering who tapped her on the shoulder. We really haven’t needed the app since we are home almost all the time, but what little we used seemed to work great, especially during set-up, which was incredibly easy.We are back to sunny, wide-open shades and screen door - and we can watch dog movies again! She’s still nosy (kind of a canine Gladys Kravitz) and might emit just a small growl or snuffle when someone passes, but she’s generally quiet and much less reactive. At the very reasonable cost of this unit, it is worth a try for anyone who has a dog who barks a lot or a little. I’ve spent enough time with dogs to know that they all react a bit differently, but I would not hesitate to suggest giving this device a try to help with problem barking.

A Very Good Idea Very Poorly Executed
I have several complaints about this product and wish to present them out for you and allow you to draw your own conclusions on if this is the product for you.We liked this product as we did not want something that shocked the dog as we're not fans of that level of training and without the barbs it could also be left on longer.Despite that it took very little time for us to realize this would not help in training or preventative measures. The first issue we had was that all of the directions provided assume you still have the shock version of the collar; they do not bother creating different sets of instructions or guidelines for a different product. This is a red flag for me that shows they do not care about their product or support. On the plus side, the device charged quickly and despite how little we had it maintained its charge very well. The app is the absolute worst piece of garbage and at the time of writing this review barely has 2 stars on the store. If you want to configure the various settings such as how strong the vibration is then it immediately sends it to your dog! They get a negative experience for me adjusting a setting? That's ridiculous! This is for both vibration and audio settings and tested on multiple devices. On the app as well none of the audio names match up with what is actually done.Set the configuration to say "Stop" and it shouts "Shut up", set it to "Quiet" and it shouts "No", set it to "Car Alarm" you get "Stop".Try to change the volume, it shouts at the dog again and half the time the options of what you want it to say disappear. So it's almost a complete guess as to what it's going to say to the dog and the whole time you're trying to figure it out its just shouting at the poor animal that's doing nothing wrong.Yes, you could take it off, configure it and then put it back on but that defeats the purpose of on the fly training adjustments. On top of that, just leaving it in the bark detect mode had the thing telling my dog to "shut up" (despite not being set for that command) while she was just lying on her pillow trying to nap with no noise from her or anywhere else in the room. The device would not maintain Bluetooth connectivity even when standing right in front of the dog it was constantly disconnecting. It does not allow for multiple devices to be connected to it at once (another negative when you have multiple people in the house dealing with the dog) and so we had at first assumed another device was attempting to connect and kicking the current one off but that was easy to test and confirm that it was just bad Bluetooth.Perhaps because of the bad Bluetooth the biggest and final straw was the fact that pushing the "Send" button was incredibly delayed so that by the time it was vibrating and telling the dog to "Stop" it had already been several seconds, an eternity in dog training that leaves the dog confused and not understanding which action was the bad one. With a massive overhaul to the app and some upgrades to documentation to show that they care this could be an excellent product but as-is we are returning it and looking for anything else.
