US Whole Food Premium Japanese Matcha Green Tea Powder,4 Ounce,100% USDA Organic

This is my second purchase and I had to update my review to a 5 star. My first review was based on a comparison of 2 different brands only. After trying out a few more of other brands I felt that the US Whole Food is the best in terms of color, taste, and value. When compare to the other matchas I tried, this one has be best color (vibrant fresh deep green). It tastes great both with or without milk, not bitter and a good strong fresh green tea flavor. Price per ounce is better than most matchas out there. The other brands I have tried are CCNature (cheap but color is not as fresh and has very little tea taste), JadeVale (army green color, tastes ok but not as good value), Tpot (awful taste and army green color). I definitely recommend this if you are looking for an affortable matcha with good quality, good color and taste.

It's midgrade, not bad not great.. Br do you get a lot of matcha for what you pay for

I am a big fan of matcha lattes and whatnot when I'm out but this was my first time purchasing some to use at home. Because of that, I must admit I'm a bit of a newbie so I'm no matcha expert - this is the opinion of someone with very little experience.One thing I instantly took notice of is that this matcha is a little less green than I'm used to seeing. Some googling told me that this is apparently symptomatic of lower quality or less fresh matcha. Not quite sure how true that is in this particular instance because it tastes fine to me, but this stuff isn't exactly cheap if it's low caliber.THAT SAID, every latte I've made with it has tasted pretty good so I'm a happy camper! I'm quite grateful that it came with some simple recipes on the back because I'm not really a fan of drinking matcha straight. Looking forward to baking the chiffon cake recipe.If you're picky, you might be able to find higher quality stuff elsewhere. I'm no aficionado but I'm happy with it. Just in case, I think I'll be storing it in the fridge to keep it extra fresh!

I don't drink coffee, but I love tea. I did a lot of research on green teas to find out which one was better and Matcha always wins out. I always check that even if it says Japanese green tea in whatever form that it is actually made in Japan. There is a lot of stuff that is made in China that doesn't not provide the potency or the assurance that it is "organic" as does the Japanese Matcha. That is why you can buy 4 times the amount for a less price.I love the taste and a half a teaspoon gives me the energy a couple cups of coffee would give you. I am looking forward to cooking with it. It makes an incredible Green tea chai that I drink every morning with grassfed butter, MCT oil, a bit of cardamom, cinnamon and a splash of stevia.

This was my first experience with Matcha Green Tea and I'm in love. I researched and researched the benefits of Matcha and the various qualities of Matcha on the market. This product is fantastic. Bold green color, exceptional flavor and I literally feel better inside and out since I have incorporated Match Green Tea into my daily routine. I would occasionally swing by Starbucks to get a Green Tea Latte, but no more. I literally make my own now and the cost savings justify the price of this tea. There is a lot of tea packed into this bag and a little goes a very long way. I am very pleased with this tea and will continue buying more.

Good but little bit sour

first, let me just say, I have ACTUALLY purchased this on my own rather than all of the other nonsense reviewers who have been provided this product for a review. I actually do love this matcha tea. The color is right, the taste is great, the quality is awesome. It's not much quantity for the price (which is to be expected) but it will still last you a while.

As of late I have been drinking a ton of green tea. I normally purchase the tea bags, but I thought this would be a great alternative. I am very pleased with this product. It arrived on time and the packaged was nicely sealed. The color is rich green similar to the color on the packaging. The product is well blended. It also taste great. You receive a lot of product in the bag. The negative side of this tea it that it is time consuming because it doesn't dissolve easily.I received a discount for my review of this product.
