Freesat HD viewer here.Last LNB got water inside as the plastic had degraded at and failed. Took it off and clipped this on in its place. Worked first time, didn't even need to align it (other than the twist which you can look up how many degrees online or copy your old LNB).

Used to replace knackered lnb, works great. Only problem was fitting the MK3 holder to the MK2 dish, but a bit of fiddling and some electrical tape did it.

I ditched sky because I wasn't getting enough value out of it (don't watch a vast amount of tv) but wanted to use the cable into my LG C2 OLED to get some freesat so that I have some regular services for the odd time I need them.The default Sky Q LNB was a two cable job which doesn't work with LG tv's - this seems to have been a problem for a number of years on the basic model lnb (I had a quad port on an old house and it worked fine but the lower model doesn't).I did a bit of digging and found this one and bought it as it was the cheapest, but highly reviewed, model.Took me a few mins to install and worked immediately on the tv (100% strength and quality). All freesat channels now work flawlessly and for about 16 quid and 10 minutes of my time I'm very satisfied.I'm not sure what a more expensive one can do but this one is excellent value for money.

Replaced an old LNB that had given up due to water intrusion as a result of very heavy rain. Hit a problem in fitting as the bracket did not match fitting of the previous one - must be an older fitting style where bracket slides into metal arm rather than on top as the new one. This meant I had to modify the bracket by cutting it and use a fixing sealant and cable tie to fasten it. However, worked a treat and am getting a full good quality signal. New cable connectors were also needed as the old ones had ceased on the old LNB and the cable had to be cut.

It work better than the old one. quality of the signal is now 100/90 brilliant. Thanks Amazon.The old one had worn out the shield that covers the signal coil when removed and inspected there was a large spider inside the unit with a lot of dead insects. I put that on another digital box and is working again. The new one from amazon is a better more sharp picture and the signal strength is 100 over 90. brilliant. Thank you Amazon.

Moved to a new house with no aerial antenna installed, and the previous tenants had left a Sky satellite plate. The installed LNB was not compatible with my Sony tv's satellite reception (probably the Sky Q wideband LNB). I was connecting the two cables from the LNB to the back of my TV, was getting all the channels, but no image & audio. I bought this one, I simply took the old one out, made sure I put this one at the same angle, connected the cables, and all works like a charm. Perfect solution if you want to get the free channels from a Sky dish, without Sky TV box and subscription. You will be able to get at least the channels that you would get with aerial and freeview, or more, and better, more stable signal. Really easy to install from a first timer like me without any idea about satellite dishes etc, and low cost. Very pleased.
