Got this for my 9 year daughter who is really into drawing anime characters and this book helped her with new ideas.

Granddaughter loved these books, she loves to draw so this was very helpful.

I have been enjoying this book, and learning a lot about how to modify head shapes and make distinct characters. I own 6-7 other books of his, but this one feels the most intuitive yet and lays a good foundation for later parts of the book.Two mild concerns: characters sometimes feel flat, but it may be that I just don't know how to shade or whatever to add depth. Also, relatedly, I wish there was something about the coloration.That said, if you're trying to go from nearly no drawing experience to something, I find this book useful.

I really like how this books shows how draw each charcter from diffrent shapes and age group. It really bring out the creativity of someone that really enjoys being creatative. This book really is a good start for anyone that is looking to learn how to draw characters without the anatomy part. Soon you will be able to draw your very own anime characters with the help of christopher hart amazing book.

Christopher Hart does it again! His books just get better and better all the time! Each page gives you valuable information on how to draw, sketch in ways/terms that anyone can understand . And his little tip character is so cute and adorable! This is a must have book!
