Sticks to carpet!!
These are great!! They stick well to the carpet. Roll it out and put something on both ends to flatten it out before installing. Cut the double-sided tape into pieces to place along the bottom so you'll have enough. I'm so happy I got this!

Works Great 4 Years Out On Carpet!
Purchased to cover a cord running from the wall to our couch that was a major tripping hassle (the only entryway we have). We needed the cord so we could plug in electronics (lamp, chargers, etc). The cord cover is heavy and stays in place. We were able to easily trim the length to make it to fit the space. No one has tripped or fallen since installing. It stays in place amazingly well and matches the color of our carpet well enough to not stand out. Purchased in 2021 and have zero complaints! Would absolutely purchase again!

Does not include enough double sided tape
I purchased this cord cover to replace an entryway mat that was covering an extension cord going to my music area. The cord came in a box coiled up, which I expected. I laid the cord cover out on a hard surface and put heavy objects on top of the court cover and let it set for 12 hours to flatten out; Which was successful and aided Installation.I laid this cord cover on top of smooth concrete. In order to prep the surface for good adhesion with the included double sided tape, I cleaned the concrete with brake parts cleaner. I also made sure the concrete was at room temperature (70°F).I noticed immediately there was not enough double sided tape to cover the length of the cord cover on both sides. If you’re unwilling to purchase additional double-sided tape, you’ll need to cut the tape into strips , about five or six inches long, to cover the length of the cord cover. I also recommend putting weighted items on top of the cord cover after the adhesive tape has been applied to the surface and allow to chemically bond to the flooring. In the end, the court cover looks a lot better than an entry mat. I had previously covering my power cords. The six foot long cover was true to length and I would probably purchase again.

Do not use the tape!
I installed the product about 6-8 months ago. The product came with double sided tape. When I applied it to my laminate flooring, it did a poor job is sticking because the cord hider was curly. It’s been 6/8 months and I had no issues with the cover itself. As I’m now removing it, I realize The tape won’t come off! I’ve used a blow dryer, I’ve used goo-gone, I’ve used a razor blade, and hot water. Nothing is taking this tape off! Don’t use the tape!

Really sticks
Just built a new house and forgot to have floor plugs for my living room. Works great and haven’t had any issues with it not sticking to my tile floors. Not ideal but it’s a solution

Good for running cords under rugs
I had to get an extension cord to the other side of an area rug. This product safely does so, preventing the cord from fraying and becoming a fire hazard. Others have commented on the inability to straighten the cover, and the need to have additional tape. While I didn't use any tape I can say that by tightly winding the cover double reverse from how it came (i.e. starting at the curled end and with the bottom side up) and then leaving it like that for a day I was able to get all but the last 6 or so inches flat. I then cut that last section off and voila! Specific to use under rugs, while it solves the problem it is not perfect as it causes a hump in the rug that we managed with a coffee table and end table.
