A strong umbrella that retains style with quality. It is large and has a lovely wooden handle. I chose red reminiscent of Japanese oil paper umbrellas and I am not disappointed. Would recommend for quality and strength as well as the looking good at a reasonable price

Quite simply the best umbrella I have ever bought. The colour is lovely, the 24 ribs allow strength and sturdiness and even when blowing a gale doesn't fold back or collapse, it also does the job and protects my upper body from getting soaked. The automatic release makes it quick and easy to open. The cost of this umbrella is amazingly realistic considering the structure design and extremely affordable.

This is a 3 month after use review.I had broken 2-3 umbrellas already in the heavy wind (typical of UK rains) and so went for this 24 rib one. It looks pretty cool and I love the black red combo personally. The size is also good as I did want a large umbrella and it isn't that large where it would more look like beach shack equipment :).Pros:The main thing for me is that this was able to take strong winds and did not get bent like other umbrellas so good marks on that. Size perfect for a large umbrella. Comes with a neat carry sling that you can just take over the shoulder.Think about:It is a bit heavy so keep that in mind but that is natural given that's is what gives it the sturdiness! I wanted a large strong one anyway and I love it.

RIP my Collar & Cuffs umbrella, Sep 2022 — March 2024This umbrella was super strong and practically never blew out.It was let down in other ways unfortunately — not long after purchase, the metal band next to the handle came loose and detached. After about 8 months using the umbrella, the auto-open lock broke, meaning I had to hold the umbrella down / together whilst I wrapped it back up (to take it inside etc) — which was gutting, but I kept using it due to it’s great size and strength (and it looks nice). Not long after, the metal on the other (non-handle) end of the umbrella came loose and fell off.This unfortunately sealed its fate — sadly, my umbrella met its demise when the actual umbrella fabric head (the ferrule?) detached from the umbrella stick during one windy night. I was unable to put my umbrella back together.For the time I had it, it did the job — however, given the price raise since I bought it a year and a half ago, I would expect a little better quality rather than feeling a bit on the cheaper side.

I was fed up arriving at places looking like a drowned rat. My previous brolly was fine as long as the breeze wouldn't blow paper off a table.Enter the very stylish black with 24 red ribs and wooden handle. As the rain and wind have been almost constant for months, testing it was possible immediately. And it performed perfectly. Dried off in the bath and then folded up and back in its cover.The handle is very smooth wood and therefore not as cold as metal or plastic. It is beautifully finished and stamped with Collar and Cuffs.The outer cover is made for the point to exit and have a drawstring top but no cord is supplied. The length is very comfortable to use like a walking stick when closed. Opening the brolly couldn't be easier. Once the cover is slipped off the catch on the shaft becomes visible. A gentle press and the brolly opens itself so do make sure there is room to do so. Unlike the brollies of old there is no thumb denting catch to press amongst the ribs in order to close the brolly. This excellent design has an ergonomic collar with very smooth action, just pull it down till the shaft catch connects and holds it closed.The finish of the fabric seams, ribs, handle, and even the detailing on the metal point takes function and adds artistic design.This is a beautiful piece of kit, very highly recommended, not least because it is priced way below the quality and style would imply. This brolly wouldn't be out of place in Savile Row.

I haven’t had the umbrella for too long and it seems that it no longer wants to rain in London after I bought it, however I did notice the apparent quality advantage when compared to every other umbrella I’ve owned. It feels firm and the automatic opening functions are firm.It comes with a strap and specialised bag, I’m no umbrella connoisseur but even I can tell that it’ll help greatly with ensuring that the umbrella is easy to travel with, and hard to forget. The canopy is much larger than I estimated, which is a plus. In terms of value for money, I think this is among the top options.

This is a beautiful looking umbrella - the extra rods in the structure make it much stronger in the wind.

Excellent quality - a bit heavy due to all the ribs - but has lasted well even as an office communal umbrella (unlike several others that died...)

I bought this because some friends had a few of these from their wedding. Great construction, great size without being TOO big (I live in NYC and personally would like to throw things at people using those golfing umbrellas that are way too large for dense city streets). Has stood up to the wind I have experienced thus far and looks distinguished! I love it.

Time will tell if this is as awesome as it seems. Wife loves it. Has that Mary Poppins vibe.

Find den Schirm klasse. Absllutt solide Verarbeitung, lässt sich schön ausklappen und sieht auch noch gut aus. Fühl mich damit wie so ein englischer Gentlemen auf dem Weg zu Tee trinken.Mache den Schirm manchmal nur aus Spaß auf, weil der Öffnungsmechanismus so befriedigend ist :D
