I first stumbled upon this product through an Instagram ad and almost made a purchase, but a helpful reviewer saved me! They pointed out that the pink bottle being advertised (a full-body foam, not the face mist) wasn't the authentic Coco & Eve. The real deal, they insisted, was the cream-colored bottle, which didn't leave a sticky residue and had that amazing fruity scent reminiscent of Hi-Chews. The pink bottle, on the other hand, was a sticky mess with an off-putting smell.Naturally, I hopped on Amazon, and sure enough, found the cream-colored bottle the reviewer raved about. Lesson learned: always check Amazon first for better prices and faster shipping! I truly feel like I dodged a bad product purchase right from the start.Now, about this product – I absolutely love it! As someone with incredibly fair skin who burns easily and can turn alarmingly orange with the wrong self-tanner, I can confidently say this stuff is incredible. I was also fortunate to realize that Ulta was selling the "dark" shade, which would have been a disaster for my complexion. I hadn't realized there were three options: Medium, Dark, and Ultra Dark. The medium shade was a perfect choice, even though I was initially worried it might be too much.The included glove is pure bliss – so soft and, in my opinion, essential for a smooth application, along with prior exfoliation. I used two pumps, blending in small circles until it was absorbed. The darker tint allowed me to see exactly where I was applying it, which was super helpful for my fair skin. It dried instantly with no sticky feeling – a huge win! The scent was pleasant during application, though it does develop a slight metallic smell an hour or so later. However, it's not bothersome, even for someone as sensitive to smells as I am.I showered about four hours after application, and while the initial rinse was brown, the resulting color was a beautiful, natural-looking golden glow. I applied a bit more a few days later, left it on longer, and the color was still fantastic. I'm beyond pleased! After trying countless self-tanners, I've finally found my new go-to. You won't regret this purchase!Photo- I know it doesn't appear like an amazing glow, but my complexion against a white chair is truly telling. Especially when I more often match the chair than not.

I’ve been using self tanners for many years - st tropez was my favorite for a long time and then the last 4-5 years I’ve been using beauty by earth. I would give this one 4 1/2 stars if I could. I’m not sure that the perfect five star self tanner actually exists for pale people. But this coco and Eve self tanner exceeded my expectations. I think the color is very good - it’s not orange or yellow (I am fair with dark hair and freckles). It also gets me much tanner in one application than beauty by Earth does. I personally find this smell to be very perfumed and overwhelming, but when I apply this, my husband always tells me I smell good 😂 If you are using self tanner for the first time, I probably wouldn’t recommend this one. It’s not goof proof. You need to know how to apply self tanner for this to go on evenly.

This is definitely one of the best. I love that it goes on so easily and I rarely have mess up spots like I have with other products. There’s still a slight self-tanner smell, but it’s so much less noticeable than most brands!!! I love this product - even if I’m in a hurry, I can leave it on for an hour or two and it still works so well. If I have time, I normally sleep in it overnight and wash off in the morning.

I received my order and the product leaked out everywhere. The cap wasn’t screwed on all the way, so I lost almost half of it.I don’t have time to send it back because I need to get tan for an event this weekend.I used the product this morning and I can see a little difference in color. So far it seems like a good product, I’m just bummed about losing so much of it due to poor packaging.

I love this self tanner! I have been self tanning for years and typically stick with St. Tropez or Loving Tan but I am now convinced that coco and eve is the best in the market! The color is gorgeous!! The price is lower than any of the other high end brands and it doesn't have to set for 8 hours! 2 hours is all you need. ( I usually leave it for 6) but the color continues to develop after you rinse off and you are left with a gorgeous, deep but natural looking tan! You will not be disappointed!!

This is the best self tanning product I've ever used, and I've tried a lot of the main brands!! I'm very pale but went with the ultra dark because I always felt that other products never made a difference.. I would have to keep it on for like 8 hours to get any color. I put this one and washed it off after 2.5 hours. The results were stunning. Gorgeous, natural color, very even and it lasts a very long time while fading naturally. I will absolutely be buying this product again and again. Can't recommend it enough.

I was looking for a self-tanner that didn’t leave me smelling and because some of the reviews I chose this one. You will still stink. I’ve decided this is just unavoidable. The first time I used this I applied it before going outside and washing my car. Bad idea. My arm accidentally touched my car while soaping and within seconds it stained my white paint. It will also rub off on your clothing so wear old clothes or dark colored clothes you don’t care about until you shower it off. With that said, the color is good and looks natural. My coworkers complimented my skin color and had no idea it came from a bottle. It goes on easy and doesn’t leave streaks or splotches. It last at least a week before starting to fade. The mit is awkward and useless. The product will just soak into it and be wasted. I always apply self-tanner while wearing latex gloves. I recommend this for the color but beware it will stain other items and as with other tanners will still smell like a lump of biscuit dough from the bottom of a dumpster.
