A very useful repair kit.
I had used a similar lamp repair kit before many years ago. That and your instructions made the installation easy. The only problem that I had was that the wires needed to be further stripped and I didn’t have a wire stripper. I managed. The lamp that was repaired was one that was in my wife’s house when she was growing up. She was very pleased with the results and quite impressed with my “expertise”.

Saved my glass lamp!
My rabbit chewed on the cord of my glass lamp and I thought that replacing the cord would be too much trouble and I would have to donate it. I'm so glad I looked into replacing the cord! This was really easy. For real, you can do this. I had to watch a video to see how to disassemble the lamp, and then I was able to put in this new electric system with no problems. It took me an hour because I took my time and watched DIY videos, but it would only take 15 minutes if I was more prepared.

as long as a simple item is well made it deserves high marks, this is a simple, old fashioned item, made with old fashion values. It is worth the money.

Soooo easy!
I have never installed a lamp kit, so was nervous about attempting this project. I refurbished an old double globe lamp that was over 50 years old, and didn’t trust the wiring. Installing this kit was a breeze. No problems at all - and my lamp is like brand new. I had zero experience with this type of thing (electrical, etc.), so if I can do it, anyone can.

This refurbished my desk lamp
I really loved my lamp but wiring seemed iffy so this kit brought it back to new again. Very grateful for this product.

Use common sense and you will be okay!
My first time fixing and old lamp. Directions were minimal with picture that didn’t make much sense. But if you use your common sense and remember how you took out the other lamp light assembly you should be fine.

A great, reasonably priced kit. I rewired an antique wall sconce in no time!! They do include instructions which I found useful since I’d never rewired anything before.
