DEEP FRONT POCKETS ALLOW FOR CONCEALED CARRY.
When I wear a concealed carry holster it seems I'm always having to make a compromise between instant "accessibility" vs "concealment" and often "comfort." I was specifically looking for pants that had DEEP front pockets so I could conceal carry (LEGALLY OF COURSE). These pants allow me to carry a compact semi-auto 9mm or 5-shot 38 revolver with little or no "printing." YAY!!! One thing I really LIKE is the pants have a 2 inch wide 5 inch deep pocket near the front pocket on both sides. I like to carry a 4 inch long pepper spray for a preferred (I hope) non-lethal option. The pepper sprays fits in there GREAT!!! The pocket is also good for folding knives, small flashlights, tactical pens. That pocket will fit a loaded 4.2 inch double stack 9mm magazine. However, it is a tight fit requiring me to push the mag up from the bottom rather than pull it out with my fingers. I don't want a spare mag to fall out so I see a "tight fit" as a good thing. The back pocket (right handed side) has a zipper which I think is GREAT to have but it is difficult to get my wallet OUT. So, NOW, I carry my wallet in the left back pocket. The zipper pocket needs to be a 1/2 inch to 1 inch wider. (Note: I'm an older guy who has accumulated a lot of I.D.'s and whatnot in his wallet. Maybe this won't be an issue for you.) -- I paid $36.04 for these pants and while waiting on the delivery the price jumped to $44.96. I like them and ordered the pants again at $44.96. I kept watching the price. At one point they were listed over $70+. I'd say, the pants are a fair price at $36.04, the most I'd want to pay is $44.96 and, what, are they crazy, at $70+ !?

Great but then not.
My favorite pants by far. Against the wishes of everyone in the family, I wear these all the time. I wear them to work and out on the town. They carry everything, they are great in the rain, and they fit pretty well comfortable wise. The issue is that the quality is shooting downwards. I got a pair with the pockets unraveling in the first week, I got a pair that had threads at the hems, and I got a pair where the velcro started coming apart from the pants in a month. I really like these pants but, for the price, they are starting to become less and less desirable. And yes, I have literally tried all the other tactical style pants you can get on amazon and nothing comes close to these pants. You can't see the stretch, you can just drop the phone in, my gun fits great inside, and in the rain I am dry within an hour after being inside.

Perfection! Update: not quite.
I wear tactical pants for daily use (not law enforcement, military or paramedic) - I just like durable tacticle pants with pockets. My goto was propper paramedic pants for years. I just bought several of the other brands of tactical pants and 2 Tru-Spec ones. Let me first say that ALL of the other brands are also quite good! As good or better than the proppers I have used for years. Gonna keep them all. But THESE take it to the next level.Stretch waist is the best overall- i don't like to wear a belt ( just lazy ) so I like them to fit over time as they shrink and maybe I expand. :)The rest is cool style pockets with tradition tactical features ( deep pockets- which i also find a must- regular pants I have lost phones, wallets, etc. with. Honestly I'm not sure how people tolerate pants without deep pockets- lol )And an overall very cool tactical look that is all practical- even if I don't use it all.I just want a dark grey option too!Update: after a few washes and wear, they are getting a worn in look. For me, I really like how the Proppers stay stiff and like new for a very long time. Maybe it’s the fabrics attempt in these to be softer? In any case, for me that sucks. I like these as corporate tech work pants, and looking new and neat is preferred. Still a great pant, and I will just buy a pair for the big meetings and save them for that. :)

exactly what I wanted
Right out of the bag, these pants fit me perfectly! As a slimmer, athletic guy I was afraid these would be baggy like the 511s but these have a great profile and looks sporty, yet still professional. I bought these for fishing and other outdoor activities, but I could sneak these in at work as a park ranger, especially in the hotter months. The pockets are well designed and functional, and not just for the sake of having more pockets that I'll never use. I'll have to wash them first to get the stiffness out of them, but I think these pants will perform in the long run and I plan on buying more. Tru Spec really did a great job with these pants! UPDATED 7/29 I bought another pair and I'm getting a lot of compliments on them! I'm actually making these my "on duty" pants now!

Can’t Lose with Tru-Spec.
This is my third pair of True Spec. I like the fit and durability. Good enough for Gunny R. Lee Ermey and good enough for me.

Fit tighter than original 24/7
I like the original 24/7 pants and thought these would be even better with the stretch panels and drop in pockets. Although those features are great, they screwed up by making them a slimmer fit. I wear a 34/34 and bought the same size. The flex pants were noticeably tighter. Movement was restricted. The legs have less room. I wear a lower leg brace and couldn't even get the pants over it. I was looking forward to getting these but ended up very disappointed.
