Good Stuff - And lots of benefits, too
It does what it says it does.I have been taking one of these in the late morning for about two weeks, and I can really tell a difference. There are times when I feel like it almost works too well, and I have a hard time forcing myself to eat. During those times, it's not uncommon for me to feel faintly hungry but nothing will sound "good", if that makes sense. I have found that food tastes a little different when I take it.I don't mind the taste of the capsule. They are a little bit on the larger side, but are not the largest vitamins I take (my fish oil supplements are absolute horse pills).I would recommend this product, especially when you consider the other wellness and longevity benefits of berberine (similar mechanism of action as metformin in managing blood sugar and insulin sensitivity).

My SO is definitely benefiting from this. He is prediabetic. And this combined with apple cider vinegar has been lowering his blood sugar counts throughout the day when typical food intakes have been raising it. A1c has stayed balanced and he’s only been on it for two months so I can’t wait to see what happens in six..

Reduces cravings and sweets
I take the berberine first thing in the morning. I don't experience any jitters or crave sweets as much as I used to and I have a sweet tooth. Also I don't eat as much as I used to. Personally I give this item 5 stars for reduced cravings and sweets.

Taste is not good lol
Not sure if these are doing too much , haven’t noticed weight loss. It’s only been a couple weeks of use. I might have a little less of cravings. They do taste absolutely terrible though so if you gag easy , you might want to skip these. I have never taken a capsule that taste bad until I’ve taken these. I’ve been taking on an empty stomach and no adverse reactions.

This does exactly what it says it does!
This is a magic bullet for diabetes blood sugar medicine! My daily numbers have all dropped down to double digits. My A1C has improved by more than a whole point. It's magnificent! If you're not going to research berberine then you need to know you're not supposed to take it beyond 6 months. So every 6 weeks I take a 1 week break so I'll be able to take over the long haul. (Another option that was suggested is take it Mon-Fri and take the weekends off. I'm going to switch to this option when I get ready to start up again). If you do research it and they tell you it's comparable to metformin. No it's not! Not one bit! First of all metformin never did anything but give me the runs. 2nd is berberine actually works very well with no side effects. Luma Nutrition is the best. 1,200 mg 1 time a day and you're done! I always take it with dinner. (About 20-30 minutes before I eat) It has worked wonders on my numbers! The very first night I took it - I skipped my insulin 70 units - and when I took my 1st reading it was 83! Without the insulin! Before with insulin my numbers were up to 160 or so to 200+! Now I'm not recommending you to skip your insulin if you have a bedtime insulin. I always skip a night or two here and there. sadly to make it last longer. But that's just me and my choice! YOU need to MAKE YOUR OWN CHOICE! Be very careful and find out what works best for you. I still took my night insulin if my number was a little high before bed. But I'd only need 40 units at most. But I worked my way down to that little by little. I told my doc everything and showed him my numbers and what I've managed with my insulin and he was really happy and approved me doing it. I did ask for SOME insulin just incase I needed it. When I say a little high before bed I mean like 120-130 at most. I don't take insulin when my number is in double digits. It's scary and very dangerous to crash while you're asleep. And that happened to me a few times. And you must know I haven't changed 1 single thing in my diet or exercise (which was none) at all. NOTHING! I can only imagine what I could do with a couple of tweaks. I'll get there when I'm ready cuz those are 2 new impacts on blood sugar and something else I'd need to work out. Y'all see what I'm saying? This is the real deal tho! Just be careful with it. Good luck everybody! Stay safe!

Great product
Great product. Always arrives as expected. I'm not sure if it's working for me, but that's probably a good thing. I'll just keep taking it.

Confusing labeling
I found these made a difference. I was taking one every other day as I thought each pill was 1200 mg, but when I was considering reordering I realized the package doesn't say the pills are 1200 mg, but that a serving is 1200 mg and a serving is 2 pills indicating that each pill is actually 600 mg. If I had realized this earlier I would have dosed myself differently. Because of the confusing labeling and the fact I am now unsure of the actual strength of each pill, I have decided to go with a different brand this time. I need to be careful as I suffer from acid reflux.
