This Book Helped my Life Change for the Better!
This book truly changed my life. I was really feeling broken at work. They hired someone is was simply causing me so much pain in my heart I was physically getting ill. I am a very kind person and my peers kept saying it will get better, or pray for him, turn the other cheek. I finally read a few more chapters and it helped me to be brave enough to finally put my heart and health first. I packed up and walked out the door. Releasing myself from a truly harmful toxic person on our team. It was worth every penny. I cannot recommend it more!

WOW WOW WOW
While I am an avid reader, I am not normally found reading the "self-help-book" category. However, this book CHANGED my mindset on working with those around me. I decided to pick up this book after have a couple of hard months with a colleague. The book helped me to better understand what was happening and gave me tools to use when incidents happened in the future. It helped me to feel more confident and get a raise at work. I've now even recommended that my colleagues and employees pick it up and they have found it helpful as well. If you're looking for a book to help you better understand yourself and those around you, this is the book i'd recommend you pick up. Thank me later! ;)

Awaken yourself to the narcissism that surrounds you and start healing
There's a lot to be learned about narcissism, gaslighting, and scapegoating and this book is helpful

Why aren't we teaching this kind of stuff in school?
Everything I've read by this author has been very helpful and informative and is written in an engaging way that is not overly clinical. This information is helpful even for non-HSPs. I seriously wonder why we aren't providing classes that provide this kind of basic living life information to students. Had I been given some basic objective guidelines some 40+ years ago I can't help but think I might have made better choices in the people I surrounded myself with as well as been a better friend, myself. Fast forward those 40+ years and I'm recovering from choices I made unwittingly or not and working to live the rest of my life in a healthier way. Sadly what can be described now as a mental disorder can and probably will be described as a culture or a generational descriptor, but then again mental disorder diagnoses come and go for better or for worse. What remains is the effects our decisions and awareness have on our lives now and in the future. I highly suggest this book as well as the other books written by this author regarding toxic people and behaviors. I wish you your best life!

It's a useful book.
The book describes with great accuracy what it is like to be a sensitive person who happens to know too many narcissists. It helped me see that it wasn't my imagination, people really were being awful to me. They're also a few ideas about how to cope with a narcissist in your life.

Very helpful tool for HSPs having to navigate returning to in-person work
Amazing tools, scientific explanations connecting body reactions, impulse, thought process-and all done in a way that most people might find it relatable enough to understand the concept and what it means-and why learning more about this trait snd how it can help society, while also recognizing the need to maintain a healthy work/life balance. Highly recommends to HSPs who struggle in any aspects in life. Providing logic, tips and tricks to retrain your central nervous systems, and also noting specific instruction on how to keep expanding on skills and abilities which allow you to have more control in certain situations. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys to learn more about themselves and more about the world.
